There's not a single company that wouldn't care about keeping their bottom line intact lol. It's not reasonable to ask any company to never raise prices even though they are seeing a rise in prices on their end.

Honestly, there hasn't been a price hike since the Xbox 360 came out. It was about due for something like this and it wouldn't really bother me of it wasn't for the fact that the price hike happened yet 90% of games are still going to be sold unfinished or with tons of Microtransactions. Or both.

That's the real crime here.

Does this not add co-op also?

"Hmm I think you are biased towards Microsoft due because if Sony did this you'll call bs too I hope."

Nope, not biased. I haven't owned an Xbox since 360. I've only owned a ps4 and ps5 since then.

I'm just going by what a Monopoly actually is. And yes, I would point this out no matter what company was being accused of it, as long as it is an incorrect accusation. Not everyone is a blind fanboy. I'm just talking about facts. ...

I don't agree with that at all. There are small things that could be changed to make it exactly like Battlefield. But I don't think that's the goal.

The only real noticeable things are small nitpicks.

No gun ports for passengers inside an armored transport to shoot out of. (Not a big deal since I l've probably killed 5 or 6 people like that since I started my BF career back on BF2)

They changed the transport helicopters...

"Hmm you think so, I am in the contra due to COD to being the most sold game series for many years and have exclusive content would be pivotal to a monopoly."

This is where people lose sight of what a Monopoly actually is. A Monopoly is is when one sole company has an entire industry cornered to the point where the other companies can no longer make that product and compete.

You've got Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, and PC. All of which either a...

If you want to play a good, new Battlefield game then go play Ground War in CoD: Modern Warfare 2. It's basically the Battlefield we've all been asking for.

It's a sad day when CoD is doing Battlefield better than Battlefield.

How can they even call this a GOTY Edition? Are they going off of sales numbers? Because it did sell a lot prior to launch. But other than that I don't see how anyone with half a brain would call this GOTY. Even after all the patches and the PS5 upgrade, its mostly a fine game now, but it's still nothing special. And it took 2 years to get here.

What year are they claiming this was the game of?

I agree that diversity is better. But making CoD exclusive would not make them anything even close to a Monopoly.

It's also what separates it from other open world games.

@Soulrakk

You're really reaching hard to change the past, huh?

How was PS3 getting slapped all generation? How was it a colossal failure?

For one thing, the Xbox 360 launched almost a full year and a half before the PS3. So it had a massive head start. And the PS3 also launched at $600, while Xbox 360 was $500.

And once PS3 launched it still beat Xbox 360 in sales almost every single month, and then overtook them ...

"If BC has to be sacrificed so be it. Whinning or dwelling on a feature or two does absolutely nothing in the effort to move forward. "

But.....including backwards compatibility on new-gen consoles IS a step forwards. It provides your customers with something they want, which in turn means more people are willing to buy your product, which means more money to keep making new products.

I remember when PS3 first came out. The first run of them had...

You're telling me you've never gotten an itch to replay an older game? Hell, I'm having serious Marvel vs Capcom 2 withdrawals right now. And no amount of new games will keep me from wanting to play that again. Especially if they could release it online with online multi-player like they did on Xbox 360.

Returnal? Demons Souls Remake? Ghostwire Tokyo? Gran Tourismo 7?

All new gen PS5 exclusives.

So, it's a very sad day when Call of Duty is doing Battlefield better than Battlefield.

Modern Warfare 2's Ground War mode is the Battlefiled everyone has been asking for.

I just don't understand what's so hard. Take Bad Company 2, BF3, and BF4 and use them as templates. Update the graphics. Make new maps. New vehicles and weapons. Throw in some new match types (Modern Warfare's DMZ mode would be a nice start!) and bring back classes. ...

Oh I know. Everything you said is true. I just can't believe it's gotten to this point. At no point have the majority of gamers stood up and said "no more". They just keep giving their money. I mean, if DLC is already being sold at launch, then what do these people think that means? It means that content was ready to go and should have been included in the game, not held off separately to sell.

The new CoD is a perfect example. It's honestly the be...

When I get tired of them and I still haven't finished the story. I know that sounds dumb at first, but that point hits at different times in different games.

I'll enjoy playing a game much longer if the game itself is more engaging and fun. Some games have combat systems that feel fun at first, but get stale fast. Others have combat systems that don't get stale for quite a while.

The actual length of the game is not usually how I judge if a ga...

Why does everything have to be a work in progress approach now?

Just give us the campaign and the multi-player. Complete multi-player. With plenty of maps and a handful of game modes. Then come out with some map and weapon packs a couple times a year. That's all it needs. That's all the previous KZ games needed that people loved. That's all the Battlefield games needed up through BF4 that people loved.

Why change the formula? Oh that's ri...

I agree. I will say that I don't mind when a complete game is released, and then after the fact they make a DLC expansion. That doesn't really bother me quite so much. But leaving content off the disc to sell separately later is really annoying.
