"This will be better than the 2nd set of trilogies story wise."
If you didn't get into them, sure. Seems a bit rash to say that before playing the game as well.
Would it make him feel any better that they're now named Opposing Force?
Sorry, but those really aren't good characters imo. Really suprising to even see them considered for a top 10 list, let alone making it.
I have to compare it to games that were released around its time. They may not be as great now, but they did upgrade the gfx quite heavily from CoD4. Not even Gears 2 or MGSIV had better foilage then WaW (Uncharted's was still the best at that time), and it was in huge abundance thx to the setting (Pacific).
If you could judge a sequel by gfx, then WaW would've looked like a fully sequel given the work they did to improve it.
Can you actually compare which comments are more asinine when they're both really bad to begin with?
It's still a solid FPS title but I'm pesky when it comes to using the same gameplay. It felt like every piece of WWII equipment was re-hashed from CoD4 just to keep the tried formula.
If you'd like to know, I'm playing WaW's MP atm and have logged in more time with it then MW2's even though I find MW2 to be a better game; I really enjoy WW2 games :P. Treyarch's still a good dev, but I felt that there came a point where Activision had more contr...
Not to slander your opinion, but your list is really messed up. There's a reason this year is called Year of the Gamer. Every month has boasted a stellar title:
January: Mass Effect 2, Bayonetta
Feb: Heavy Rain, Bioshock 2
March: God of War 3
April: Splinter Cell: Conviction
May: RDR, SMG2, Alan Wake, Modnation Racers
June: ...Was that when limbo came out?
July: Starcraft 2
August: Okay something release...
You need to understand the dynamics of how a racer performs 99% of the time when it comes to sales. Almost all of them are built around sales in the long run (even blockbuster ones), not first week. It'll still have major numbers 1st week as well but not to the level of Black Ops/Reach.
Wouldn't be suprised if it's 3rd/4th week sales are higher than Black Ops though.
He states that they're all real in the first sentence.
You're on a roll. I'm really curious to see the PC fanboys blog; don't really notice many on here.
Not trying to bash such a wonderful blog but are my empirical arguements pissing you off? :P
to see you're actually getting agrees. To think any company doesn't care about quality is just foolish at best.
I don't want colors in my limbo! >:(
"Treyarch have never one-upped IW before..."
I disagree to a certain degree. Treyarch has been the one to bring a heavier focus on added value, coop wise. CoD3 was the first in the series to bring grenade choking and sprinting, they just weren't that polished.
When it comes to the overall package, I absolutely agree with you though.
It's tough but let's be realistic here, you're clocked to speed run to the top in just a 1 minute. With a good strategy, you'll be done in no time.
That would be an awesome time. One of Desmond's ancestors originally coined the term "let them eat cake", wait and see :P.
Psychologists have a plethora of ways to research rage in people. They probably hooked dudes up to an fMRI after they played a session of Dead Rising (or some other violent video game).
Same here. Certainly was tough at times.
Hope you guys/gals enjoyed the review :).
if it's still coming this holiday season, like it's stated in the quote. I see nothing wrong with polishing it up for a few more weeks if the creator deems it needs to be.
