-"For example, the FeministFrequency kickstarter is a flawed project in that it ignores the large amount of strong female presence within the industry."
This isn't an example of someone outside of the industry though, like Roger Ebert has admitted to being. I'm pretty sure that woman has stated how much she enjoys video games; I think she even mentioned growing up playing them.
Even before this vid series has been released, with us not know...
This could be the first CoD since MW2 (Hans Zimmer was involved with that one) that I might find reaching exemplary status in sound design.
It's not necessarily an oversight rather than focusing on his points. Yes, every console has its own identity with its exclusives; but who can't figure that out on their own already? Each has their own "mascots" that consumers know is specifically for that system to begin with.
I personally think that by strictly focusing on the major cons that been with PC gaming for quite some time and how some of those problems mirror what we're seeing on this gen c...
His ascent to defy the gods stationed atop Mount N4G continues, as he bravely latches onto the lumbering website titan, escapistmagazine.com.
:P
He acknowledges exclusives in the description (summary) I posted.
"Outside of a handful of exclusive games, what edge do they have?"
". . .RFOM, UC2 and KZ2 were the better games."
You see what he did here too?
Grabbing a bunch of of scores from metacritic and stating why you think those sequels failed to measure up to their predecessors is uninspired. There also seems to be dozens of variables not taken into account:
- The predecessors' score may have less critic scores than the more recently released entry in the series.
- Standards may have drastically evolved for certain genres in between development of the two titles being compared.
- ...I...
You misspelled Michael Ironside.
The intentions behind the [-_-]~ emoticon have been revealed.
Well played, Cat.

I started reading the blog, then my eye wandered over to your n4g status message. lol
Did you plan that?
It doesn't really look good on your part when you have to leave a comment asking others to approve your review (although it's been approved now).
If others deliver reports about the quality, be sure to PM those 'reporters' and converse with him/her on what they wish to see improved. If you take their suggestions and reevaluate your work: it will get approved in an instant. :)
I don't see how that negates DL-based purchases from entering into the argument, especially when considering just how much of the market-share now revolves around it.
Steam still does some of the best game deals around; however, it's nearly impossible for them to compete with Amazon on normal days solely based on the fact of how many locally-owned game retailers flock there for game sales. It's quite astonishing to see how much they'll undercut typical retail prices just to move inventory.
Just recently I saved about $4 on a mint boxed edition of Mirror's Edge and $7 on LA Noire Complete Edition (New disc-based copy as...
Too innovative for this gen's framerate.
*'What did I just read?' face*
:P
Too innovative for this gen.

If you were to research certain articles dating much closer to the beginning of this gen you'd notice a move to "clean house" in Lucasarts back in the middle of the past decade. This move essentially brought in a bunch of suits who are solely dedicated to making the top dollar with as little risk involved as possible.
When you see nearly half of LA's lineup for this gen has been LEGO Star Wars games you know something is wrong. Although I'm not entirel...
The answer to that would be no. I'm pretty sure Remedy has stated their complete control over the Alan Wake franchise at least once.
I've never received a restriction from the forum portion of this site, but I'm guessing a temporary or permanent ban would work the same way.
If so, that's unfair b/c Smokey might become drunk with his power and temp. ban those who annoy 'em on forums: everyone. :'(
Smart idea to spread out the winnings into $50 prize packets in order to award more winners. Can't wait to see what interesting comments/blogs/reviews are brought up for this month.
:)
The main theme song can also help set a tone for the entire soundtrack: slight variations in how it's produced, tempo, etc.
I'm also insisting that the very fact Treyarch is reaching out to a talented musician (regardless how much imput he gives overall) shows what sort of "background" (<- if you follow) the team is striving to create.
