You can't review anything objectively. A review is, by definition, subjective.

IIRC, it's being released as standalone DLC as well at a price of $6.99/ £5.79. But yeah it's really not worth it. The story is paper thin (you have to save commissioner Gordon, and that's almost literally it - you just save him and that's all), Batgirl only has 4 gadgets, there are no puzzles. There's a few collectibles, like joker teeth and balloons which need popping, but they don't unlock anything interesting. And there are no new challenge maps either.
Embarrassingly, we still haven't reviewed Witcher 3- blame a cross-country move and E3 delays for that. But we're inclined to agree ;)

It's weird; 10 years ago, Lan was supposedly dead - killed off by the ubiquitousness of broadband and publishers taking their MP servers exclusively online to combat hackers and piracy.
Now, it's slowly making a comeback to the point where I keep seing it listed by indie developers as a bullet point feature in press releases.
The more things change, the more they stay the same, I guess.

Well it's a completely different game, so that's sort of comparing apples to oranges. But in a more general sense, we'd probably say yes :)
I understand what you're saying; but whereas many people have heard of Skylanders, not as many have heard of Spyro. It was, after all, released back in 1998. Time flies! What still feel fresh to us old gits is just some obscure retro oddity to the whippersnappers ;) So mentioning Skylanders places the game and its legacy in a context that younger readers are more likely to understand.
Load times and issues with framerate are supposedly being improved in a performance patch they're working on.
No Mans Sky isnt exclusive, to be fair. Its launching on PC as well, as is The Witness. And it's only a timed exclusive on console at that, nothing stopping them bringing it to xbox One.
Being child-friendly doesn't make a game childish.
The most childish games are often the ones with a mature sticker. Just look at Saint's Row.
we don't see a 10/10 as a "perfect" game. Perfection is unattainable. Rather, we view a 10/10 as a recognition that a game is essential.
I can assure you this wasn't a "copy-pasta" review. The reviewer wanted to like the game; he tried very hard to enjoy it, and he makes a point in his review to praise Ready At Dawn for the presentation, lore and detail that's gone into it.
Ultimately he just felt that the gameplay simply wasn't up to scratch.

If anything, it's the easiest game in the series.
