Guess what, the console been out a year. I dont see sony offering me perks for buying a vita for an extra 50 bucks after their price cut.
The 3ds program was expected because the price was dropped 70 bucks in like 5 months. This isnt the case with the wii u as its been out a year, and the price cut isnt even that significant.
Also the lowest ive seen a limit go is 5, and that was project x zone which is crapcom not nintendo. And 5 plays itself is plenty... even on 360 without...
Nintendo is in perfect position to release hardcore, niche titles and platinum is in just the position to get bought up. With platinum's game sales, none of which hit expectations, they are in a rough spot. If nintendo made the financial push and they made the games it would benefit both companies. Eventually im sure theyd strike gold with an ip that is critically and commercially successful. Nintendo owners just need to embrace them as they did Rareware, or ps owners have naughty dog.
Yeah, madworld was a game that seemed like it would sell well in japan, but it flopped there and sold 700,000 everywhere else. No more heroes also flopped in japan and made its money in america.
So even though w101 seemed perfect for japan and sold bad, its not too late for the game.

No, the favt that it CAN be useful for a game makes it worthwhile. That means there are probably more games that can make use of it.
As for the people who dont want kinect, they can unplug it. Big whoop.
No one calls the psp a failure. NO ONE. Thats like calling the genesis a failure because it sold less than the snes... both consoles turned a significant profit, both are great systems.
Same with psp/ds.
It already is being sold at a loss, nintendo said that a month or two ago. They just made back the loss through the first software sale, now it'll take a little more.
The wii u can run latter day ps3-360 level graphics in 1080p and 60fps in its unoptimized, first few years. Considering it can do that and offer an original, fresh gaming experience 299 is an excellent price.
No companies will announce a price cut like that, its dumb buisiness. "Oh dont buy our console for 50 bucks more today, we're dropping the price... eventually."

This is definitely the impression i got from watching the game. It isnt explained at all and the genuinely interesting atmosphere isnt fleshed out the way it should have been. This is probably my least favorite of suda's games.
Why does the fact that the vita is a handheld change anything? The 3ds is outselling everything and its a handheld. The ds is the second best selling system ever, its a handheld. The vita shouldnt be merely outselling the wii u, it should be dominating everything like the 3ds.

X is not confirmed as 1080p, but bayonetta 2 and mario kart 8 are.

Bayonetta 2 is easily the best looking action game shown thus far. I do not get the comparison of it to a ps3/360 game graphically, the only game that comes close is god of war ascension, which ran in 720p and a little above 30 fps. So truly with all the stuff going on at once and the frame rate and resolution bayonetta 2 looks excellent. I recommend checking it out.

John carmack, one of the smartest and lauded programmers in gaming history, said the two consoles are basically the same power wise and we wont see the difference until much later. And he wasnt sucking off microsoft because he also criticized the hell out of kinect. I trust his judgements over some psuedo-techies on n4g xD. Both consoles have their strengths, both consoles are good in their own right and deliver different experiences.

Umm, yes. It only has nes and snes games and it doesnt have a lot either. The original wii launched with nes, snes, genesis and n64 games and within the first year also got neo geo and master system games.
Its a wasteland.
I really hope this isnt a bad port. I missed out on HR, and this looks like the definitive version.
When did i say i wouldnt? Im just saying this game looks more creative and new than SM3DW. Which will probably have forest world, ice world, lava world and desert world, and -surprise- bowser's the final boss.
Sega should release a NIGHTS port from the saturn onto the wasteland of the wii u virtual console.

Definitely, ive seen videos of people pure platinum-ing the demo so its clear that it is indeed a game where you can develop technique, even master. Contrary to ign.
Still, i hope they release a patch that kind of fine-tunes the distinction between hammer and whip/sword because theres definitely a bit of an issue there. Not the game breaker blisteredthumbs (3/10... lol) claims it to be though.
but it will it survive in the fan's hearts? i think not.
