none of the consoles are must buys. this console gaming generation has just been more of the same with little advancement. and scaling up resolution isn't enough for me to consider any system a must have. it's the games that make these consoles good and a ton of the really good games are on pc, and they look and player better on here. farcry 2, fallout 3, left 4 dead, bioshock, etc...
in my opinion (and obviously nobody offers much other than their opinion, which is all this ...
i think the push to talk provides a good tactical element to the game. if you're being confronted you have a choice, take a split second to call for help or just fight by yourself.
also push to talk is for your team, but ppl can hear you if they are in a close enough radius. not a lot of games do that, and that's one of the features i've always liked about halo. i think push to talk should be on even if it's less than 4 ppl.
the inconsistency is what bothers me.
BLOWS!!!
i goto school at PSU and our ice cream blows ben and jerry's away. in fact, they were students here and that's where they learned to make it. and they weren't really considered to be very good students. also, we had a ben and jerry's shop in town and it went out of business cuz everyone here knows their ice cream is the retarded cousin of the Creamery.
i have no idea which version was which, but i liked the one you don't mouse over better. but i only looked at a few pictures in each category. either way, i can't wait til this game is released. i've been looking forward to it for years.
we don't know the business side of what lead to these decisions. all we have are a few scattered articles that mentioned a collaboration that went bad.
there's no way to know who, if anyone, screwed who over. the only thing i saw in there was that nintendo didn't want to use CD media. and in a way, they had a good point. we did need a medium that could hold more data. but if you remember the ps1 like i do, the discs skipped all the time, and load times were a huge pain. i a...
well i have a family that never wants to have anything to do with video games, and yet this year my aunt n uncle brought a Wii and everyone made a huge fuss over it.
i think what gamers are forgetting is that a lot more ppl don't play video games than do. the wii tapped into that market.
The Wii being popular is the same reason really garbage blockbusters do the best at the box office. it's all hype and word of mouth from people who don't know what they are talki...
but sims 3 looks an awful lot like sims 2.
disagrees cuz i called out a fanboy. you know, we're all gamers and we're in this together regardless of your system preference. the fanboys are ruining the gaming experience for everyone by trying to peddle their retard agenda. i hate you, i hate you, i hate you. i don't even know what else to say. the ps3 fanboy is the most irate, insane, ridiculous person that has ever plagued gaming. you comin in droves and you offer nothing but BS propaganda and opinions. you make no sense, you ma...
don't talk, you're a moron.
as for gears. i loved the first one despite the glitchers. the problem is, this new gears goes way beyond exploits. the game is simply broken. epic won't acknowledge this, probably because they are already working on a 3rd one and don't want to worry about it. but i can tell you this much. if they spent as much time as they claimed perfecting the first game to make the second, and this is still the same old crap we had to deal with before but wor...
did anyone tell these 2 idiots that you can get a used working ps2 for like 10 bucks? helluva lot cheaper than the hospital bill.
also, if 1 incident of violence per day (which it's not nearly that much) as a result of some gaming is enough to say games are bad. why don't the few million gamers that play each day and don't do harm to others hold any weight?
oh, and if gaming makes you evil, then Richard (stupid N4G won't let you type D!ck) Cheney must play video ga...
I do agree that it's a good game. I don't agree that it's the best thing to play right now. but that is an opinion. but for my PvP needs, i would never turn to wow. I don't play games of luck while being competitive (kinda why i stopped playin TF2 -- having dice roll crits in an FPS is ridiculous). For pvp I'll stick with the shooters and rts, not dice rolling.
they'll definitely milk it as much as possible. the rumor is the next xpac is already in the works.
i play, but not religiously, and i can verify that it is more popular than ever. my server has a queue on a regular basis now cuz it's always full. and the major city in the new zone, Daralan, is always laggy.
this is a better xpac than the last though, i can see why ppl are returning.
who cares about sales???? F**K the numbers.
we all grow up and ignore these sh!t articles. the title alone makes it obvious that it's mean to inspire conflict. and the result is always the same. ppl lose bubbles and lose their ability to express their opinion.... that is not right. you should be able to express your thoughts without worrying what ppl think about you. this has just gotten so old. i don't care which systems do better. i don't care who has more exclusives and i don't care if you think one game looks better than ano...
so we need articles to tell us what our opinions are?
these articles only entice trolls and we end up with 180 comments from people trying to say why one system is better than the other.
why not just write an article called "5 games i like on ps3 (or 360)." it would be exactly the same thing. and it would still be pointless.
i didn't know in halo 3 they show you how to kill 2 people and stage it like a murder suicide. pretty sure we get ideas like that from movies books, and TV. halo shows you (completely unrealistically) how to shoot wave after wave of aliens while your health rapidly regenerates.
those aren't facts. those are your opinion. in my opinion resistance is a rip off answer to halo and not a very good one. resistance 2 is kind of fun but it's not at all graphically impressive and the multiplayer is just a giant clustf**k. Heavenly sword was a button masher 5 hour boring experience where the boss fights simply came down to pushing prompted buttons on the screen. Uncharted was an attempt at blandly blending disney style story telling with gears style combat and it failed ...
the article highlights good reasons for why ps3 isn't doing well and all the fanboys can say is it was written poorly?
my theory is that fanboys are only fanboys because they are so full of themselves that they can't stand feeling like they are in support of the wrong ideals in gaming.
as a real gamer, i go where the games are. this generation, it's the 360. it's not because i auto-prefer 360 to ps3. i have both. but my 360 is the system i play much much more oft...
don't support epic til they fix the 4 million glitches that still exist in gears 2. glitches that have existed since gears 1. glitches they promised they were fixing. glitches that are now actually WORSE. screw epic
