jesus darkie.
You never were one for detail, were you.
The fact that you are still clinging to metacritic averages, to make specific ingferences, says a lot about you.
It is clear that you will skew any data set, accept any angle, just to dilute and deny what doesn't fit your agenda.
What is evident is that you prefer "apples to oranges comparisons"
while completely ignoring the only relevant "apples to apples comparisons"...
You are not making sense, bud.
Back to school witchu!
LOL!
I can't believe Darkie berates others for this pissing contest, yet it is easily observed that he himself has seen it necessary to spend the most effort pissing out of anyone in this thread....
Next time, darkie, do less talking, let the Sony defence slide, and pay attention that you are not pissing into the wind.
;)
I agree GB is crappy looking.
However it is MUCH more crappy looking on ps3, despite being led on ps3.
.... I guess THAT was my point.
Thanks.
@ Devil
That's true, dude, yet you seem to have no problems talking while masticating gently on Sony's cokk.
Didn't GOW3 and HR get delayed to 2010 or beyond?
Yes?
That means you don't get them either.
@ ^^^
Yeah.
It will only be a matter of time before someone codes a ps3 emulator for PC.
Probably on the cards for the next PC upgrade cycle, no?
MS posts sharp profit decline.
Or
Sony posts sharp loss increase.
... almost hate to state the obvious, but the only one he owned was himself.
*shrugs*
Indeed, as soon as most/all of the hardcore buyers have bought the console, additional skus are sold to casual users.
Hence, the record attach rates that come from associated hardcore users are expected to decrease, as casual users buy less games.
However, the point is, casual users STILL BUY games.
Thus, expanding the userbase is still relevant, but not quite as crucial as at the beginning of the console cycle.
If MS can remain at hardware breakev...
^^^^
what?
Please oh please oh please do not say that you were adding up the ps3, ps2 and psp sales to win the argument against the 360 alone.
That is sad.
Lol...
Kaveti will likely need to do some better research in future or just simply STFU.
I have rarely seen anyone embarrass himself like that.
actually,
air made a very poignant and relevant observation about the PS3 hardware sales that were supposed to accellerate in the wake of those games, not to mention MGS4, LBP, UC.. etc etc.
Overall, the impact of AAA games o ps3 hardware sales has been somewhat less than stellar, all tings considered.
I am sure more AAA titles are to come, but based on the history of other Great games on ps3, these new ones will also somewhat fail to increase ps3 hardw...
Yeah, I think Arnon has nailed it there.
Darkride has neglected to make a proper comparison.
Once again, he has succumbed to his own spin and unscientific bias.
Fact is, it is not possible to compare the scores of the multiplats on metacritic because:
1. The games on metacritic are reviewed by different publishers
2. The number of reviewers are different.
3. The Reviews invariably do NOT compare the games 1:1
Thus, the resu...
So, to sum up:
360: Sharper backgrounds, quicker loading times
Ps3: Better D-pad, slightly blurry backgrounds, slower load times.
Is it just me or did the ps3 scrape into a tie thanks to its arguably better D-pad again?
ghostbusters
Lead: ps3
Superior: 360
Thanks.
So the gap hasn't closed even though the ps3 is also a bluray player and follows in the footsteps of ps2 brand recognition?
I honestly had thought that ps3 would have sold much more than it has by now. No doubt Sony did too. No doubt everyone did!
It's kinda funny that people are now boasting that the ps3 is "keeping up" with the 360, which does not boast the bluray capability and does not appeal to afficionado movie watchers.
This console war...
just as well it's not on ps3 then.
Can you imagine the ueber-gimpedness which would result?
Yeah I agree and it's kind of laughable.
It seems that there is a never-ending supply of ps3 users who are paid to damage control, spin the facts, clean up the Sony mess and generally behave like Sony's PR dept.
I hope they get paid well...
