well actually,

some of the casual games on wii are pretty fun.
The article also stated that they wouldn't just be ports, they'd in fact improve the games, to take advantage of the 360s power.

You might not like it, but i am interested to see where this is going.

@ Soda

No way dude!

Ultimolu has class and style.
She's an upfront ps3 fan and honest about her opinion.
What you see is what you get with her.
Where darkride has slippery spin, she has backbone and fire!
Sure, she has a melt down now and then, but that's what makes n4g interesting.

Darkride is just a common Sony Salesman, pretending to be a gamer.
Ultimolu is so much cooler.

what the steak isn't cooked?

Blame the developers!

Jesus darkie, lighten up.
Why so angry?

Is it because the ps3 is in third place and probably will remain there until 2015 and beyond?

Sheesh.
Do you always have to be such a humourless fanboy?

Go play your PS3 and gnash those teeth.
Maybe grill a steak or two.
Just keep away from me with your bitterness.

wait what?

That feature is not standard on ps3?
No wonder it's in third place then.

If it had the cooking function as standard, it would surely outsell the wii, right?

;)

Dude, you been living under a rock?
The ps3 can already do that!

Seems strange that sony didn't hype this excellent feature.

Yeah i echo your sentiments.

I played MW3 and MW4 to death.
With so much graphics power 7 years on, this will be amazing!

lol
yeah oops... you are right they are first party titles.

No matter, Sony is under extreme pressure to make money.
If shareholders demand that they release their first party titles as multiplats so as to raise the profit margins, then... hmmm.

Looking forward to it.

Lordy!

Anyone would think Darkie lives in a bubble.
You are just peddling spin again.
Every time we meet I am further convinced that you are just a common salesman without a clue.

Darkie... every company since the year dot has made 'investments'.
Please quit regarding yourself as some business guru, because you definitely ain't, that much is clear.

An investment is the placement of funds into a project with the intention of generating ...

well as far as i can tell kojima works for konami, which has embraced the 360 wholeheartedly, so yeah, i guess by extension, Kojima quickly fell into line.

Same for Kitase and Nomura at SE.

It doesn't bother me either way.
Bottom line, more exclusives are now multiplats.

That's good imo.
Saves me from spending money needlessly on multiple consoles.

As far as competition goes, MS and Sony will always have first party titles to ke...

Bioware is starting to embrace the ps3 while Kojima has embraced the 360 as have Square Enix.
There seems to be a trend away from exclusivity and toward multiplats.

In my opinion, it would be terrific if all developers dropped the 'exclusive' loyalty.
That way, we'd all get the best games, on every console, with only the multiplat quality to separate them. If this were the case, developers would gain economies of scale and probably make overall higher profits.

A quote from darkie:

"..That's money invested, not lost. If the product fails to deliver, then you can count it as an investment lost.."

I guess Sony shareholders can rest assured knowing that it wasn't money that they lost, but only an investment.
I am sure they feel much better now...

Oh wait. You don't mean to say that it's still money lost, but with some hefty spin to make those $3-4 billion losses sound more palatable?

Yep.

There goes darkie, stalking my posts and defending sony til the very end, as he usually does.

.. and yeah. i was on topic, because i was replying to dread's inference. You, however, went looking for an excuse to hang sh1t on MS. Oh how original of you.

Sony promised BC, then criticised MS for not doing the same, then went back on their word and removed it.
That's a fact.

Deep down, you feel cheated, darkie.

2009 is the year of N4G.

They are the only ones making money off of all the bickering, the hating, the pontificating.

Damn I wish I'd started this website.

@ gamer_politics

Yeah, we knew that.
In most cases it's a foregone conclusion that the ps3 multiplats will be somewhat gimped compared to the 360.

It has happened consistently since 2007.
In 2008, Developers were starting to lead development on the ps3 which was supposedly going to fix the inferior ps3 ports.

However, it is now 2009 and, even with ps3 leading development, ps3 muliplat-games are, eight (or nine) times out of ten, still trailin...
