as is well known, the 256 mb of video RAM in the ps3 isn't available for graphics textures to the same extent that the 360 512 mb of shared RAM is.
Thus, the textures seemingly have been reduced thanks to the ps3 again, as has been the case for countless multiplats so far.
I am getting kind of sick of this.
I wish the developers spent the wasted resourced of trying to get the ps3 up to scratch, on the 360 game instead.
.. and that's not all!
I also heard that:
- developers are to blame
- MS paid IGN off
- the 360 is holding back the psp
that's what i have been ... hey..what?..
oh wait.
I have just been reliably informed that the above are just a summary of the N4G-ps3-fan-comments in this thread.
/jk ;)
Of course I should have said, 300% DOWN, with a headline to match the other stories.
That was kind of obvious, though, right?
lol.. duh!
hey look ^^^
some more personal abuse in the gamer section.
Come on Mods!
Didn't we have an approved n4g article saying the sales were up like 1000% or 400% or something?
Question is, where are the articles this week saying that sales are 300% DOWN?
Where are they?
I agree.
What an idiotic comment.
An intruder was killed, and you have to bring the fanboy war into this?
Sad.
Dude!
I STILL play starcraft!
It is THE most fun i've had gaming on multiplayer.
:)
didn't like deus ex
@ above...
lol
I wonder how many people will get it?
The developer's comments had absolutely nothing to do with the spin that the guy writing this blog came up with.
This article is just a misrepresenting the facts, and adding some hardcore sony-fan-boy-spin!
What the developer ACTUALLY said was that MS helps developers MUCH more and the 360 is easier to develop for.
I find it soooooooo sad, that there is ample evidence in this thread that so many ps3 fans on n4g don't even bother looking past the silly he...
as per usual,
some PS3 fan gets personally abusive in the gamer section.
as per usual,
i chuckle and wait patiently for the mods to read his comment.
the ps3 version looks blurrier.
As per usual,
the ps3 fans run out and damage control.
As per usual,
some ps3 fans runs around in circles, blathering about pixelcounting and KZ2.
As per usual,
the developers are blamed.
As per usual,
gamers should just buy the superior 360 version.
AS per usual,
PS3 fanboys won't, due to their Sony sponsored and implanted common-sense-by-pass-chip.
Isn't it funny that when this mag gave infamous 71% and 80% to KZ2 the ps3 fans cried bias and complained bitterly... as if such results were outlandish.
Yet, here we have the same mag giving a score of 105% and all of a sudden the mag is god's gift to all humanity?
Just goes to show the level of fanaticism that some ps3 users seem stuck on.

If that's true, then get ready for ps3 Natal!
lol
Well, if we've had this conversation before, then clearly you weren't paying attention darkride, because you are still wrong.
Kaz Hirai actuall stated:
" I think the better indicator is to look at the business as a whole platform, to ask: are you profitable in terms of the hardware, software and peripherals. And the answer to that question is yes on a gross profit level since the last fiscal year.
Unfortunately, your comprehension skills let you down,...
I think it's quite achievable for Sony.
Let's face it, Sony has played ALL their aces now:
-slim is out
-price cut
-upcoming Gt5, FF, GOW
Only an idiot wouldn't be bullish about the realisation of Sony's sales forecast.
The question to ponder, though, is what will happen after all this hype has died down, in maybe 6 to 12 months.
What is left?
oh you mean damage control?
Thought so.
omg!
a double post!
and people disagreed?
you guys are nuts.
Well, Matt, GGG et al...
It seems there are some inconsistent patterns in your reported behaviour.
You seem to have had NO trouble in:
- attaining the game early
- Hurriedly writing a review piece ASAP before anyone else
- Hurriedly publishing said article ASAP before anyone else
- Hurriedly getting the article linked to N4g for hits, before anyone else.
Ironically, when it came to honouring the request of MS to pull the ar...
