Dude. get a grip.
Did you check the open zone?
So uh... you were saying?

dude. let me remind you:

yet the N4g PS3 fanboy army is taking the comparison seriously?
Dear oh dear.
There is so much technical info, related on a down-to-earth-level, that i am simply astounded.
This is where tech geeks like me get their rocks off... lol
With regard to the respective GPU's, I suppose I'll let the numbers do the talking:

It's funny how you guys quote KZ2, UC2, MGS4 over and over again, yet fail to acknowledge the 100+ inferior multiplats on the same console. ...
third place... check
sdf damage control.. check.
very angry ps3 sdf .... check!!!
Darkride66 spin .... check
The list is now complete.
Thankyou to all participants.
That makes no sense.
Consider the PS2:
- easily moddable
- most modded/chipped games console in the world
- most copied games in the world
- most successful games console in the world.
There seems to be a positive correlation between modding and consoles success. Granted, correlation does not necessarily equal causation, but still.
You guys have nailed it.
Thompson was making a joke about Sony's repeated flip-flopping marketing tactics, and the author didn't get it!
The interview (in proper context) can be read here:

Any fool can see that Thompson had his tongue firmly planted in-cheek...
... Funny to see a pro-ps3 blog misinterpr...
unfortunately for you, it is a well known fact that the GPU in the 360 is better than the gpu in the ps3.
The developers were able to demonstrate this in the superior version of this game, once again, on the 360.
A familiar story.

"you can count the number of games that look better on the PS3 than the 360 on your thumbs."
Yeah. ain't that the truth!
The PS3 looks like it has been gimped slightly by the forced exclusion of AA that is looking pretty smooth on 360.
Congrats to the developers for making the game equally enjoyable on both consoles, but also for taking advantage of the 360 gpu, with better looking graphics.
A familiar story.
Yeah I have to say i agree
The gameplay looked like a lot of fun!
If only the video was a little better, then we could have all also marvelled at the outstanding graphics...
Yikes!
ps3 dropped another 11000+ units this week.
That purported 'generation winning sales momentum' seems to be falling steadily week by week.
This is not good news for gamers, as reputable industry analysts are also predicting continued losses of the ps3 division on top of $4.3 billion invested losses

"I know what you want to say. lol don't do it they will take your bubbles. "
It is a sad day on n4g when we can't point out the obvious truth without fear of (ps3?)fanboys taking our bubbles!
You are right on the money, however.
What you say makes a lot of sense.
+1
lol!
third place... check
sdf damage control.. check.
lol at your sarcasm.
How about...
3rd Placed!
better?
;)
@ gametime
You are absolutely correct.
While n4g is user driven, it certainly is not democratic!
The author is right on the money when he states:
"Currently N4G is carrying a very heavy PS3 bias and submitting a piece with anything negative to say about Sony or the PS3 is very tricky. You also need a thick skin when dealing with this group as well. Attempting to do battle or justify your submission in the comments section is a bad idea."
...
looks friggin amazing.
What platform was the footage on?
360, ps3 or PC?
dang that didn't take long for some SDF damage control....
"grasping at straws"?
... if only!
Gentlemen, the batteries were/are being recalled, because they had/have the potential to KILL PEOPLE, due to the fact they catch fire and/or EXPLODE.
That's not a choice that Sony made to benefit its goodwill.
It was MANDATORY.
More importantly, this is not an isolated incident.
Sony had this problem back in 2006, and then it happened AGAIN ...
