well that settles it then.
You can have your virtual reality and i'll have the real thing.
What's the weather like on your virtual planet, anyway?
Is it virtually cold?
Does it virtually rain much?
lol!
So you'd rather have a photoshopped picture magazine than the real thing?
figures.
I think most people would agree that a real woman, even without special lighting, is utterly preferrable to a magazine that has nice pictures.
To each his own.
Cripes,
all i did was point out to ultimolu that Sony *was* arrogant until the economic crisis hit and provided some supporting links and look what i get.
Damage Control to the extreme, especially by darkride66, the ueber-Sony-fanboy. As per usual he cherrypicks certain quotes, misrepresents, generalises and does his utmost to spin the true gist of the links.
I gotta hand it to him, he is a slippery, facetious candidate, who knows how to spin and lie thr...
Huh? Make stuff up?
Please stop lying about what i did or did not say.
I certainly did not say that ps3 games ALWAYS run at lower resolutions.. but it certainly does occur more often than one would like!
All i said was:
ps3 576p
360 720p
That's the gist of it.
The PS3 has shown us its limitations again.
Again, just the facts.
No need to spin it, spin boy.
I am starting to feel sorry for you, ...
ps3 576p
360 720p
It's kind of redundant what you said, because the ps3 obviously is incapable of rendering the game at 720p, thus had to gimped down to 576p, with some additional effects to 'cover up' this shortcoming.
That's the truth, right there.
I prefer to stick to cold, hard, facts and evidence, not the subjective personal opinions that you see to be fond of.
In that regard, it is undeniable that the ps3 version is, once again, gimped.
...
@ ichaos
Spot on, dude.
.. even with jaggies?
I agree.
It speaks volumes about the nature of the ps3 fan kids on here.
They cannot stand to have positive 360 news and will troll and spam this any which way possible, as proven in this thread countless times already.
I used to think n4g was kind of balanced, yet it's horribly obvious it isn't. Witness the comment above from a gamer who can't WAIT to get this outstanding 360 game, which is posted in a 360 article, in the 360 section... yet he has garne...
It was Sony that was arrogant, until the recent economic crisis, wasn't it ulti?

Yeah, that would be very disappointing if it were true.
However, this is PAchter making another prediction.... *groans*
Let's wait for the npd.
If the numbers are like this, then your sentiment is indeed justified.
Yep I read the article.
ps3 576p
360 720p
Ain't nuthin' darkride66 can do about it.
Damn he is one angry ps3 fanboy, isn't he?
Truth is I have no multiple accounts, unlike darkride66, trollboy 'el sdf presidente'!
+1 bubbles up shadow
Yep I read the article.
ps3 576p
360 720p
Another ps3 multiplat forced to run at a lower resolution, to keep up.
That's the gist of it, yeah?
@ murkerr
quote:
"360 owners lit up the board disappointed in the graphics"
HUH?
THe only people who lit up the boards were insecure ps3 trolls like you bud.
Suck it up, it's the truth.
powerdrift is so 1988
ps3 576p
360 720p
That's the gist of it, yeah?
Lol
I agree, we'll see Bluray in both next gen consoles.
By 2011/2012, the technology will have matured to where it is cost effective and much faster loading than on the slow-loading ps3 of today.
With regard to making it to the next gen, however, the facts disagree with you.
We all know MS is somewhat better positioned than Sony, with regard to profitability.
After all, MS has posted 2 years of profits on its 360 division, while Sony has, ac...
well said, shepherd.
Canadianguy is still bitter and angry about 'home', i think.
Don't mind him.
30K?
That would be down a factor of 5, from 151k, right?
Thus you can expect articles with '500% down' headlines, not 200%.
Sounds much better, methinks.
Wait. it's at 39k now.
isn't that already 400% down, in its fourth week?
;)
jk.
Again, wow.
Again, you have completely missed the point.
Did you not read what i wrote?
- You cherrypicked some quotes out of those links, which suited your purpose, ignoring the underlying message.
- You misrepresented the underlying gist of the links.
- You pretty much applied your famous spin, and did it so well, that you forgot the reason why these types of articles are even written in the first place.
There was/is an underly...
