I agree with Mart.
The only logical conclusion is that the additional development resources which were, and always have been, required by the ps3 development have to be recouped by increasing the price!
Can't argue with the fact that the ps3 is hard and costly to develop for.

A comparison can *only* be called 'apples-to-apples' when we are directly reviewing the 360 and ps3 against each other, by comparing gameplay, screenshots, resolution, frame-tear, texture quality... etc etc.
Unfortunately, the review scores on metacritic are NOT doing that. Instead, they review each platform separately, with little to no correlation or comparative review value to each other bar the subjective judgement of each r...

It would be logical to suggest that the high price is due to the fact that the ps3 is demonstrably difficult and expensive to develop for and thus incurred higher additional costs that needed to be recouped by the developer in the form of higher prices.
What other explanation could there be?
