It's funny that the screenshots from cynamite and this article from LOT are being held up as examples of why MW2 should now be considered equal on both consoles.
Fact is, it was never about the colours!
It was shown that the ps3 couldn't manage to keep up with regard to:
- framerates
- shadow sampling
- loading times.
Most PS3 fans seem to want to gloss over these important details.
It's not rocket science.

I have read the above comments with interest and noted that quite a number of people are opining that MS will somehow 'unfairly' quote increased sku sales as a result of people replacing their banned consoles?
Well, that may or may not be true.
However, what has NOT been considered by the comments above, is that this is a terrific opportunity for the supposedly superior ps3 to steal the same marketshare AWAY from MS!

I have no use for that software you mention.
The software I want has a coding community and experience behind it.
It has evolved specifically for a certain purpose and is not available for mac, except as dual boot, which defeats the purpose of geting a mac.

I agree with you guys above that high sales ALONE are NOT enough for GOTY.
However, MW2 has much more than that.
It has:
- outstanding review scores on metacritic
- outstanding graphics
- outstanding single player
- outstanding multiplayer
AND it has outstanding sales and popularity.
A game that wins GOTY should have ticks in all these categories.
Does UC2 have these ticks in all categories?
Does MW2 ...

In these areas, the 360 undeniably came out on top.
That is a fact.
What did cynamite do?
They posted some screenshots that look about the same.
They did no comparison at all, and the interpretation of the screenshots is no different than the interpretation of the screenshots of the LOT article itself.

- better bloom/flare (proven)
- slightly faster framerates (proven)
- much faster load times (proven)
- better shadows (proven)

funnily enough, it was also written in the 360 manual to not move/tilt the 360 while a dvd/game was in use.
Yet, people DID exactly that, despite the warnings
Then people complained about scratched discs and threatened to sue.
Then people cussed and cursed MS and a new legion of haters were born onto n4g, purely because they didn't do as they were told in the 360 manual
