lttp is great as it is. I really don't think a remake is needed.
I avoid guitar hero. had a bash once it was quite fun. But i'd rather play guitar. Also I think getting too used to button bashing might be detrimental to one's technique.
I used to play it on the snes/megadrive, the slide tackles were well funny, was like they were on ice or summin. It had a rockin theme tune too.

if i can see something in mario i want to get to it. If there are loads of places that seem impossible to get to with mario, but look like they are intended for exploration i'll get frustrated after spending stupid amounts of time trying to get there.
I'd rather they actually just unlocked some area of the game, made a galaxy appear that wasn't there before.
I'll enjoy being luigi though (assuming i can unlock him)

they're the ones with mario as the protagonist following the SMB format.
But that's just the nature of an old franchise. and those games have changed a lot over the years. World is dramatically different to 1, as is 64. 11 games so far including galaxy.

Personally I don't really think that Goldeneye hasn't been surpassed.
It was a great game, but there have been so many good FPS' since. PC is the FPS platform anyway.

thats almost the first thought for a game i had. move up to hit a higher note.. down to hit a lower note, wobble it side to side for vibarato, hold A to add portamento.. could be awesome. up to 8 player jam sessions, most of my friends play music and i can garuntee we'd make some epic tunes ;P
did find some homebrew thats pretty interesting for the DS though if you've ever used a tracker style sequencer. It's still in early dev but its the right kind of lines. Great for messing...

So you don't think they will release anything worth playing? I just think it's a bit illogical to deny yourself the good games you will get because you are annoyed about the ones you won't get.
The more support good games get on PS3 the more financially viable the platform is for releasing future titles.

Bit late, they've already done it.
Personally I like the games featuring the mario universe. They are all different games still. I suppose there are alot but only bother getting the ones you think will be good.
Seriously though, don't you think thats a bit petty... infact detrimental to your cause.
If you (and others) don't buy the games that you like for the PS3 then capcom will drop future iterations of those titles for PS3.
I guess this will give you a reason to dust it off.
I remember banging on at my parents about how I wanted a Nintendo, Specifically not a SEGA.
Parents have to endure alot of hammering about christmas preasents off kids. For many it's the chance to get that prized posession that they hanker after all year only to hear 'wait till your birthday/christmas' (unless they are loaded), so I doubt kids let them get it wrong.
There is no way that is true. Yes they are making money on the console but the profit margins are still going to be higher on software, and the console only gets bought once.
I think though now it is a proven concept it won't be considered nearly as risky. Nintendo has done the hard work of getting people used to the concept, so it's likely peripherals could prove a success.
But I would have to agree about the SD card thing. Such a pointless thing to do. So much so that it puts me off buying as many VC games as I dont want to download them twice.
it's not like people can't get all the roms on the net if they wanted to so I really don't know why nintendo were so over cautious. It just means that paying customers can only store a few games, and I want to be able to dig out my wii in 10 - 15 years and play games off my SD backups rather than have lo...
