Damn, I wrote "as long as you CAN'T" instead of "as long as you CAN".
Resident Evil NEEDS to control like Dead Space. It would give the game a better dynamic. This "tank" control that RE 5 had, was awful and it's very outdated.
It actually only works in the fixed camera style games. (RE 1-3)
As long as you can't shoot while moving count me in, otherwise, count me out
Maybe if they show the game before April, they could release the game in Japan for Christmas, and have a US/Europe release during Q1 2013.
Whatever it is, by the time this game comes out, the PS4 and/or the Xbox 3 will be already announced, and the relevance of the game will be severely lowered. When it was announced, everyone was excited because of the potential in graphics and tech it had, but if they star showing tech demos, or games for next gen consoles before this come...
Just watch the media scoring it lower just to get hits and start controversy... as usual
Digital sales are going to make it difficult to measure software sales for Vita. I would assume, especially Japanese, will prefer the digital version; especially since they are cheaper too.
At least I know I will be buying most of my Vita games digitally.
I also don't think Sony will release sales numbers, so there will be no way to see how much a game sells.
Actually it plays very similar to Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm series.
I didn't like the demo that much. I did like that it basically plays like Naruto UNS, but it lacks something Naruto games had. Also, I hate Unreal Engine with passion, so that would make me very biased against it. I don't understand why they had to use that outdated and horrible engine.
The audio sucked too, don't know if it was my setup since I haven't checked it, but the surround was minimal and at very low volume.
It looks like it will be ...
PS Vita fall? Wow, so now if it doesn't sell a million a week it fails? WTF
Exactly! Every PS3 owner DESPERATELY WANTS Dance Central 2, Kinect Sports and Kinectimal..
Not even Wii owners want them!
Short Answer: NO
Long answer: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOO
I don't like that Multiplatform games win platform-specific awards. Only exclusives should be nominated and multi platform games should have their own category.
The author nailed it with what he wrote about what was disappointing. I would like to add another thing though: COD-like controls. For me was the biggest disappointment. Developers shouldn't agree to change their game's identity because of some fanboys complaining. I know COD is a huge franchise, and everyone wants a piece, but trying to copy is the wrong direction.
People making decisions are just stupid, and are glad to accept it. They create a category of Platform Exclusive when they already have a platform award? They should have created (and I have been saying it for the past 4 years) a MULTIPLATFORM CATEGORY!!
That way, they nominate exclusives to their own platform (as it should be), and leave multi platform to their own category so every game has a chance to win. Doing this, you avoid to have the same game winning every platform ...
GameTrailers and most of the media won't let the PS3 win (or the 360 loose) two times in a row (or even more) That's why 360 got it last year.
I would choose Rayman Origins over LBP2 only because of the perfect controls and platforming. Other than that, LBP2 is better than Mario Land, but we all know Mario will always win a free pass because of its reputation.
Note: Mario Land (and Mario in general) is a great game. They have always been, but this time Rayman Originas should have taken the crown.
I am loyal to the company that releases the games I like the most. Last gen was Xbox, this gen was Playstation; and I will always like Nintendo as long as they keep reeasing Mario, Zelda, Metroid, etc
I don't understand, and I face palm so hard, when the press just refuses to ACCEPT that 360 has had a horrible year in exclusives. The closing comment said: "All three had some great exclusives this year" Really? 360 had 2 exclusives! If they take into consideration the Kinect games there are more, but why does 360 is praised for going casual, but when the PS3 has a casual game is crap?
I hate this double standard that has been going on this generation. I would ...
Really? They use the title as a confirmation when the story is just about a stupid phone call from GameStop?
This story needs to disappear!
EDIT: Even Kotaku used a better title
"The question will be will the 3ds and vita have as good a libraries as the ds and psp? "
You already have the answer to your question. (It's yes btw). Just look at the launch games from PS Vita and the other games that still have to come out, and coming E3 and TGS next year there will be much more games announced. On the other hand, the 3DS is starting to get some great games, and even though it started slow, and it's going at a slower pace, it will have g...
Nobody is going to announce a Wii U version of any game (officially), until Nintendo unveils it properly and release the launch line up, and future games that will be available.
Also, Resident Evil 6 has a release date in the trailer, and by announcing a Wii U version, they will basically announce that the Wii U will be available by that date, which Nintendo won't allow, until they say so themselves.
It is very likely that it will be a Wii U version thou...
