People get confuse not because it only has a U added to the name, but because there has been so many add ons, peripherals and games with the name prefix Wii ( Wii Fit, Wii Play, Wii Sports, Wii Motion Plus, etc) that obviously they will assume another thing that has a Wii prefix is an add on, especially if Nintendo just has been focusing on the controller.

For all the people that are saying it was scripted, it was OBVIOUSLY a video. The guy wasn't playing! Even when something is scripted it doesn't turn out the exact same way by millimeter. Yes, when scripted the bad guys pop up in the same place and all, but you as a player don't move the same every time. If you compare the gameplay from E3 to this, they will be exactly the same? Why, because it was a video. Again, they were NOT playing.
Why they are trying to do is appealing to a mass-market to gain market share. They saw how New Super Mario Bros Wii sold like more than 10 million, and that Wii Fit has sold more than 10 million too, so they want to get those people to buy the Wii U.

Most of those people only cared about Wii Sports and Wii Fit and that's why they only own a Wii. I don't think there's someone that is interested in video games that would prefer to have only a Wii. Maybe kids that can't afford a 360/PS3 and were only given a Wii but that's it.
Hopefully third party devs try and do exclusives again. Maybe they could do one exclusive for Sony and one for MS. That way we could se what some developers can achieve by maximizing each hardware.
Considering that KH3 is unlikely to release on the PS3, and more likely to be a PS4 game; the graphics would allow to have pixar characters without losing too much detail. It would look really good, even if it has graphics like they have showed for Final Fantasy Versus XIII, or even better if it has graphics like the tech demo they unveiled at E3
They have shown stuff. The most interesting use I have seen is in Rayman Legends, but that was in Ubisoft conference. If the focus is in the controller they should have shown more. There shouldn't have been anything about 3DS since there was another conference for it.

Actually their problem is not releasing games they announce and games fans want. They already have a tech demo for next generation and where is Final Fantasy Versus XIII? Where is Kingdom Hearts 3 which has been begged from fans and instead they have released like 3 or 4 KH games in other consoles as spin offs?

The only thing I actually hate is having this DLC first on Xbox crap. I don't care for DLC mostly, but for people that do they get screwed over. This is something that seems like strategic advantage for MS, but is more of a d**k move from developers to gamers (the ones that support them)
I recommend that you just wait until you try one yourself. No one has tried it anyways so no one can tell you. It's hard to imagine how to hold the thing, and the same thing happened with the Wii mote once it was shown. Just be patient and some day you will have one in your hands

I am not liking a lot of stuff that the game is adding. It's weird because Dead Space was a fresh air from the changes (for worse) that Resident Evil was having. Now Dead Space is trying to go RE route? (Which is the worst route to take ever for this game)

Nintendo needs to put a second analog stick ASAP. 3DS is getting great games, but they are restricted to only one analog stick, and the add-on is horrible. There are already few games that use it like Kid Icarus, Kingdom Hearts 3D, Monster Hunter (in Japan), etc and will surely have more coming soon.

There are some games that require you to be online, or require an online pass etc, but what happens in few years when you want to play? Won't be able. Servers will not be available. Sadly, there are even offline games that require you to be online, so they will become useless in some years.

Sequels should only be done if they have a story to tell. I don't like that a developer makes a game that sells well and tries to somehow fit a sequel just to make money. An example right now is God of War, because even though people want to play more, they are just finding a way into the story just to release it. Other example is Assassin's Creed.
