Very sad that you nailed the conference to the points and commas.
Nintendo is the one to look for this time. It'll be pretty interesting to see what games they will announce, and most importantly, show for the Wii U. I want to know if they will give details on their new Nintendo Network and how they are planning to go agains Xbox Live and PSN.
Sony will be... (sorry to say) boring. It will most likely have great gameplay footage for some games like The L...
I didn't like the demo that much. I thought it had a Demon's Souls/Dark Souls vibe, but then realized the gameplay was completely different. I also didn't like the design. That Chimera doesn't look that scary. I preferred GOW3's.
I think the game will be good enough, although I don't see it getting really high reviews. A lot of people will enjoy it, but I guess this is not for me.
A lot of people say that graphics don't matter. Well, they do, because otherwise, every gamer would be buying the Wii instead of a PS3 or a 360. Every gamer in N4G would choose to play COD, Halo or Uncharted in a PS3/360 than a Wii capable machine, why? Graphics!
Also, graphics do matter, because if it wasn't for the PS3 power, Uncharted wouldn't exist. They need the processing power to make better AI and better animation, but also, need better graphics in order ...
I like the idea of having console quality games on the go, but they should make new games and not ports. It's great to have the chance to play a game on the PS3 and continue on the Vita when you leave home, but they should focus too on new and exclusive experiences on the Vita.
On example of it is Gravity Rush. Although I haven't played the game yet (nor the demo) it looks like a console quality game, and I am actually jealous that it is not a PS3 game (since I pref...
I like that idea.
You are all forgetting one thing about the game: THE GRAPHICS! I don't think the will reuse GOW3 graphics. They might be an improvement, but even that says a lot. The graphics will be awesome, and could be even better than Uncharted 3
I think is better having no number, and "Ascension" sounds cool.
The reason I don't like numbers is because it limits the game sequels. They should only be for direct continuation of a game, and not just for another game in the franchise.
Example: Uncharted. The three games are like different chapters or story, although related, they are not a continuation from one another (directly), so they should have stuck with only subtitles. Since they are...
The very first thing that came to my mind when I saw the announcement was Heavenly Sword. I even stood up and picked up the game to see any resemblance and it does have a lot.
It can be anything, but there's much more that points to a Heavenly Sword game than a GOW. Also, If it was a GOW it would be announced at E3, not in a viral campaign.
If I had to bet, I would bet for Heavenly Sword.. (or a spin off of some sort)
I am also loyal to video games. I used to buy Nintendo consoles because that was where the games I wanted to play were. Then, I wanted to play games that were only on the Xbox (like Ninja Gaiden) so I bought an Xbox, and now I have a PS3, because has the most games I like.
Let's see which console is the best for me next gen, but I am guessing I will have to skip it altogether because I don't think I will have the money for it. :(
Worst of all, I can't imagine how people without connection will be able to play with those online passes bs that every game will have next gen. Because we all know is the first thing they'll implement.
But that's whats wrong with the game! Why does the THIRD game of a series should be enjoyed ONLY by newcomers? For me that's a complete fail and deserves a low score.
I am tired of this casual crap that every developer wants to pull on every game. I don't care if they make 1000 new casual games for newcomers and grandmas, but don't mess with stablished franchises that are already successful and enjoyed by a lot of people
It's a great game. It's just that it might have been intended as a collection, putting all characters together with some new. If you played the previous two and enjoyed them, then there is nothing not to like about this one. It's still very fun and the improvements they made to the gameplay makes it even better.
Why don't the writers of the game (or ending) just come out and explain to everyone what they meant when writing it? Some logic must have gone through in order to put that in the game the way it is.
I just finished the game and I don't know which ending I got, but I just know that the entire game was great from start to finish!. I really don't understand why they are complaining. I've seen much worse endings, for example: Killzone 3.
I've seen that a lot of developers, producers, directors, tend to go for the easy exit. If you analyze a lot of endings in sequels, they play it safe most of the time. I wish they took more risk to end a series with a bang. ...
The problem with Sony is that they do it wrong most of the time. With the PSP Go, they had a great chance to start the digital download platform but they ruined it by not offering ALL games on the PSN. You cannot have a download-only machine and not being able to get every game.
With Vita is happening the same thing. I haven't bought it even though I really want to, because you require an overpriced memory card. If they release a machine that REQUIRES a memory card, why n...
The first time I played it I didn't know I was in control of what was happening. When I realized, I got goosebumps of how awesome it was. For me the entire las chapter of MGS4 was epic.
It was in the press release from Ubisoft
"But if AC3 is indeed coming in October then I doubt that we won't see many major changes."
Not necessarily. AC3 has been in development for 3 years-much more than Brotherhood and Revelations were. This time, the changes and improvements they make are going to be up to developers' decision since they have had the time to do so.
I don't see why Ubisoft wouldn't want to put Assassin's Creed on the Wii U. A lot of games will be announced at Nintendo's E3 conference, especially third party with exclusive content (especially control-oriented)
I would expect most of third party games releasing during summer-winter will be on Wii U by Christmas.
Really? Two Halo games again would be exciting?
