I am really thankful that Naugthy Dog released the patch and fixed the aiming problems. For me, it almost killed the game because it got very frustrating at times.
What bugs me though, and is more of an observation than a complaint, is that instead of Naughty Dog accepting they messed up with the aiming, the said that it was intended to be, and even if it was, when they saw the majority complaining, they should have accepted they messed up. Instead they give it as a second o...
They must have done that to accommodate 3D. The E3 build must have likely be what the game was looking before they realized they needed to add 3D without becoming a complete mess. Which in turn, it became a complete mess anyways.
ND dropped the ball, and is Sony to blame because of the 3D. If they didn't need to add it, the game would have definitely look like the E3 build.
It is not! The entire game is like that. You are the one trolling because you know that is the final build which everyone has.
Gameplay changes that RUIN Skyward Sword: MOTION CONTROLS.
There are a lot of good changes to the gameplay in Zelda, and some that are good ideas but not yet well implemented. Motion Controls however, ruin all of them. Even though there are some moments where it is fun (while flying your bird), while in combat they are the worst thing to ever happen to a game (Zelda or not). Especially during bosses.
It is not precise and the thing keeps losing calibration. T...

Hopefully by that time the next generation is here and they make a new IP, leaving Assassin's Creed on the side for a while. Maybe even for an entire generation. It's a great franchise, but Ubisoft hurt it by making it a yearly release.
Agree... and disagree.
I am loving the game, but at the same time I am hating the controls. They added motion control to everything and it is ridiculous. I thought It was going to be like Twilight Princess but with more polish. It is uncomfortable to play like this, and the aiming is not even with the IR so it makes it horrible.
I read that this is supposed to be the content for the DEMO, but people misinterpreted (lost in translation? typo?) thinking it is for the final version.
But who knows... we'll have to wait for official confirmation, although I don't care since I am not a fan, but for them, it sucks if true.
I hate this 2 SKU strategy. They say it's to give the consumer an option; I say it confuses people, and make games having to be developed for the lower end console.
It should be like old times: 1 NES, 1 SNES, 1 Genesis, 1 N64, 1 Dreamcast, 1 PS2, 1 Xbox, 1 GC. Life was simpler that way.
I wouldn't buy a Wii at this point. The Wii U is backwards compatible, and if you want to play a Wii game, just wait. Buying a Wii now is a waste of money since you won't be using it more than 1 time.
Most of Zelda's song are epic. I just wish for the next Zelda, Nintendo does completely different music the way they did with Mario Galaxy 1 & 2. They kept the classic, but did a complete overhaul of the music for Mario, and Zelda deserves the same.
I like her much much better now. She looks like a normal girl with hot body who a normal guy would date her
*Enemy recovers full health*
Oh Sh¡t..
That's exactly what I was thinking. Since it still is built from the ideas of the predecessor it can't truly be the greatest.
I think that they have the chance to truly innovate the franchise with the Wii U, since it will be the first time a Zelda franchise will be in HD with much more polygon count and technical power. They might not give Link a voice ever, but with the power of the Wii U (even if it's not more that the PS3 or 360) there is a chance that they cou...
Interesting. Too bad I have the game but I don't have a TV. I bought a new one, and I am waiting for it to arrive, which could take up to a month! I just can't wait to play this game already! I want to cry.
It will. Miyamoto said at E3 in an interview that they are already working on it. Don't know if it will be a launch title, but seems likely since it was supposed to be a Wii title.
Reviews will be worthless until EVERYONE uses the same scale. When you have scales of 5/5, 4/4, 10/10 (one going with just .5 increments, and other with .1 increments), etc. you get a lot of inconsistency and makes it impossible to compare one review to another.
You see that Gamespot give Skyward Sword a 7.5, but how do you know if it is better than the IGN review if they use different scale? Instinctually, you see the higher number as better, but the value is different. <...
You should wait. Not sure if the patch will include the fix, but if it does it will be worth the wait. I didn't enjoy it because of that. I tried to play a second play through and I quit the moment I had to shoot the first bullet (to shoot a lock.. which even that was weird to accomplish).
the game is awesome. It reminds me a bit of Earthworm Jim. The controls are perfect, and the graphics gorgeous in my 55" TV. Absolutely worth it!
Damn I envy all of you who already have the game! I don't even have a TV at the moment :(
"the launch titles list is weak"
and that's how you know the writer of this thing is trolling...
