They want to have a unified network, which is great news. But they will confuse people, if they don't get rid of PSN completely. If you have a PS3, you might have noticed that you still have the PSN logo in the XMB and is still called Playstation Network. That could be confusing to some, because the name is now SEN.
Yesterday's update, should have replaced the PSN logo, with SEN logo. That's it.
my bad.. is SEN (fixed)
It will still confuse people, because it's still call Playstation Network on the PS3, and will still have PSN cards to purchase.
Someone that doesn't know, will be like ok, I have a PSN card, but the thing ask me for the SEN account?...
They should have gotten rid of the PSN network entirely and replace it with he SEN logo. At least that's what I was expecting from the change, but it is Sony, and while I love their products, they just don't or...
I actually thought they were going to change the PSN logo for the ESN. Guess not.
It's good news they improved the web browser. There has been a lot of time since a new/improved feature got in an update. There should go back to the times where updates meant something new, and not just security updates.
EDIT: This is the first time, the website I use to watch TV shows, work with the PS3 browser!! :)
There should be TWO lists of trophies for that kind of games. Just like they separate de DLC ones.
It would allow developers to put more trophies for both, and both kinds of gamers would be happy. is A WIN WIN...
It could even allow for two platinums in a game if possible.. (or if the lists are more than a few trophies and are difficult to get)
"To be continued" really means "Pay if you want to watch the ending"
I hated when Ubisoft did that with Prince of Persia (although I think they did it because the game wasn't as successful, so they did a DLC instead of another game)
Square Enix is NOT in a position to screw more consumers over. They have made us wait years for Versus, they have been releasing average or below average games, they don't listen to their fans at all, d...
The only problem I have with this transition, is that now music unlimited, video unlimited, qriocity and SEN will have the same logo
That's completely different. You CHOOSE to be a Playstation Plus member. Also, Sony is rewarding those who pay for it.
In this case, Capcom is choosing to screw PS3 players.
"We have announced a new game Fortnite for an entirely different audience, more casual."
Epic got Rare'd
It's not WHEN Versus XIII will see the light of day
It's IF Versus XIII will see the light of day
I stopped playing Megaman X series at X5. For me the best one is X4. I didn't like X5 at all, so maybe that's why I didn't play X6. Is it really that good?
Not sure if sarcastic or serious... ¬¬
The sad thing is that with SE you don't know anymore
For me, the wisest move would be to finish it just like Insomniac intended to. If Sony tries to make other games they may not be as good and would be in danger of hurting the franchise.
The PS4 is coming, and with it comes many new IPs which will have the opportunity to be successful just like Uncharted, and many others have on the PS3 (360 and Wii too). I think is the best time to end the franchise since is also almost the end of the generation.
Who knows, m...
I don't understand developers (or publishers at that, since they are the ones making those decisions) Why would they want newcomers on the THIRD game? Then try to make it easier? Since when they need to make games easier in order for one to play games?
Everybody was a newcomer once, and I don't remember games being dumbed down for me to play them. I actually started playing video games with mega man, zelda nes, then skipped some years and played Sonic, Mario RPG, etc....
In the moment you put a story in a game, both the story and the gameplay become codependent. You need good gameplay to immerse the players, and the story to keep them interested.
It is not 50/50, it is 100/100 gameplay and story.
You have a point. This generation has been all about FPS.
I actually think that they started milking it when they saw RE5 selling really well. They said: People want RE! give them more RE! but since it takes time to do the games, everything just added up in 2012
Lamest add-on ever!
Hope Nintendo will release a 3DS redesign sooner rather than later.
The would probably consider it to make the Vita and PS4 as compatible as possible. I don't know if that would cause to make a change in the controller design, but I think it would be pretty good idea if done correctly.
The problem though, is that with the Vita, you touch the rear pad exactly where you want something to happen on the screen, so it gives you a sense about where you're touching in relation to the screen. Adding the rear touch pad to the DualShock, might ...
I just can't get why Nintendo, knowing that everyone hates Navi from Ocarina of Time because of how annoying she was, they go on an make Fi ten times more annoying, and not satisfied they make her useless.
