I swear I prefer always online DRM and not having the ability to buy the games used than to have games become a micro transaction milking.
I am really afraid that Uncharted 5 is going to be about buying weapons and treasures. The next Gran Turismo to be about buying cars, or the next Little Big Planet to be all about buying every single item to use, and different levels, etc.

It would be more viable for Activision partnering with Sony to make a new game, than Sony buying the IP. I don't think Activision would let it go.
That was Jak and Daxter. They wanted to make a new one, but didn't like how pre-production went, so they did The Last of Us instead.
Crash was owned by Universal which was sold to Activision a long time ago.
I don't care what anyone says, but I love the look of the Xbox One. I'll definitely buy it later in time, but the buttons, the system, the controller, everything looks great and elegant (to me). It actually reminds me of the launch PS3 which was very sophisticated. However, that power bricks RUINS IT! I HATE IT!
The PS4 looks great too, amazing even, but the Xbox One has something that makes it looks just so good. I actually wish the console was as powerful as the PS...
I hate those "not yet essential" comments in reviews. What do they expect? To have a console that just launch offer more than 500 games and all kind of services?
A lot of reviews say, The PS4 is great, but still doesn't have games! Like Kotaku, don't buy YET. I mean come on! Why can't they be objective about what they are reviewing. They should better say the potential that the console has.

It's not going to happen until there's a good enough internet connection worldwide. No company is going to just focus on one country for a product that sells around the word.
I don't know if I want to cry or laugh at that headline. " Journalists" are getting pretty embarrassing. The guy who wrote that headline needs to get back to his mom's basement.

Ability to customize the Home Screen by moving tiles wherever you want, instead of them moving automatically with recent use.
Ability to sort content in Library and have content separated by games and media. Also, being able to remove titles you don't want.

They should reveal a teaser for Zelda U, but might be unlikely since they just released two Zelda games this year.
Yoshida said that they have ALL of their first party studios working on PS4 games (poor Vita), some are working on sequels and known franchises, while others are working on new IPs.
E3 is going to be very interesting! Actually starting from GDC! Great year coming next.
Competition is going to be awesome this year. I just hope Microsoft wasn't very fond of using dirty tactics, but if all is good, we are going to in a great position as gamers.
Both of this companies will fight to death for your money and they will announce great games. I actually think I will have both consoles this time and I am pro PS4.
I think this model fits perfectly for fighters. A lot of people don't play with more than a few characters and they can just buy what the want and nothing more. However, I feel like buying the complete package is always the best.
They better don't be doing this for other genres, since I don't want to be paying for chapters in Uncharted, or levels in Mario, etc.

When Sony announced that you can do it on the PS4 I thought it was a great little detail, but I thought that Xbox might have been doing that for years, but since I've never owned a 360, I have never tried it.
I cringe every single time they focus the usability of the controller on FPS. Like if FPS is the only genre in the world. They should judge the controller based on several genres, not only FPS.
IMO, DualShock 4 is much better for many different genres, while the Xbox controller is much more focused on FPS. It is not surprising though, since the PlayStation was created in an era where platformers were the most successful genre (thanks mostly to Super Mario 64); while the Xbox ...
He is a great guy, but I agree! It seems like even though he is optimistic, he is not doing Nintendo any good. Also, Reggie is not as good as he seems to be. The marketing for the Wii U has been horrible, and he is the guy approving everything.
Nintendo really needs a fresh start with their executives and bring people that care about the games, but also about having great, cutting-edge technology.

Actually it gets me more confused the switch from a Nintendo controller to an Xbox's since they use the same letters but in different order. The confront of each controller is unique to each one and it takes seconds to accommodate.
Those are valid issues. While small, if they were there, it would improve usability.
I think people is focusing on launch games a lot, where in reality, what counts it's what's coming in the lifecycle of the console. In my opinion, Sony is better prepared to deliver more and better games than Microsoft. Maybe Microsoft will have some surprises down the road (which they might even be third party), but in general Sony wins. Also, Publishers and Developers always go for the console that sells more, so whichever console sells better, will definitely have better support fr...
I think automatic downloads is free for everyone when the system is on (i guess it's just like how a PC just notifies you that the updated is ready to be installed), but in order to have it downloaded (and installed?) in stand by mode you have to be a PS Plus member.
