Xbox reasons are more of a personal preference than facts. I also hate when everyone is trying to drink Microsoft's kool aid about the cloud. Like if it is something only they could do or if they had invented it.
The moment things that MS said it could be done with the cloud can actually be done, everyone will be doing it. Not just them!
Sony has the advantage in the US, but MS has the advantage in the 13 countries he is launching. Which is more important though?
A really smart move from Sony would be to break the release date of the PS4 in those 13 countries, and have store sell PS4 early (like how the Dualshock 4 and games are already sold). If they can manage to do that, at least in a limited way, it could steal some of MS thunder at launch.
If not possible, then a lot of people will choos...
Very off topic but I'm curious. Is anybody getting an ad in the middle of the page?
On topic, I don't know what pocket station is. Is it relevant in the west?
Why would Fumito Ueda leave Sony when he is making one of the most wanted game on a Sony platform?
I wonder what issues and disagreements or fights they might have had to make Ueda quit or get fired.
It all add up if you think about it:
The game was announced in 2009
Developers made it clear that they had a lot of problems developing the game on PS3.
The PS4 was started on 2008
The PS4 is much easier to develop for than PS3
The game disappeared from the public
Conclusion: The game is being developed for PS4 (PS4 specs) since 2010 or earlier.
Obviously Sony couldn't sa...
Like I wrote in a comment above. Will third party developers really support Remote Play and configure a GOOD control layout? We'll have to see, but I expect some that won't care and leave some kind of default configuration, instead of really optimize it for PS Vita.
I know that every game is supposed to include remote play, hopefully it's true and there's not a catch. However, I'm more worried about the real implementation the games will have, specially third parties. They could include Remote Play (because maybe it really is mandatory) but how will they actually configure the button layout? Will they take time to actually make it work well in the PS Vita?
So it's the light is white when in remote play? (at least it seems that way) That's cool!
Yeah, but the difference is that the RROD is not for warning you, but telling you that you are already screwed.
That's old news. What I want to know is if it really goes across the entire console, or not.
Edit: I already found out the answer: It does not go all the way across. Only two thirds.
Hey, I hate the small roster of Killer Instinct, but that it's not their fault, it's MS's since they are forcing them to have the game at launch, even when they have only had less than a year to work on the game. Double Helix might have a bad past, but they are doing an excellent job with KI. The game is going to be awesome! and much better once they release second and third season (and beyond)
Guilty Gear is looking awesome. I have only seen the games but never p...
USB to MICRO USB.... Mini is the one the PS3 uses, which is not common any more, since replaced by micro.
I don't know of any controller that has come with USB cable included.
Hope not. Bend should be making another game. I really don't want another Uncharted. While they are amazing and a ton of fun, Naughty Dog can do much better. They proved to raise the bar with The Last of Us, now they need to raise it higher.
Bend on the other hand, have a lot of potential for making a new IP
The biggest problem si the denial of the FACTS. I mean, if you want to buy an Xbox One, even if it had NES graphics, it's fine! It's what you like, it's what you want to pay for, so it very acceptable to do that.
What is very wrong is people trying to disguise those facts or trying to lie completely. Specially when those people are journalist who are supposed to inform about facts, not opinions. They could sate facts, then state their opinion, but they tend to pass ...
The difference is that with the 3DS, people wanted to buy it, but it was expensive. So when Nintendo reduced the price, it worked fine. With the Wii U, it doesn't seem people is lining up to try to get Nintendo to reduce the price. Now, with a lower price, even if you don't want one, you might bite, but it doesn't seem like the demand is there either way.
it's not about the awfulness of the launch lineup. It's the awfulness of not having something coming afterwards.
Is it going to be that you have to scroll right instead of having a second row? If so, it will be just like XMB but instead of down, it's right. Hopefully not, since the worst part of the XMB is that you had to scroll down to 100s of things you had.
For the PS4 it would be better if you reach an end, and continue on second row, then third row etc. Having all your stuff to the right will be pathetic, and it's going to be the same mistake of the PS3
That's exactly why KI method is actually great! Capcom is milking fans with every new release of SF4, when they are only updates and not a full new game.
Killer Instinct will let you buy the entire season for $20, or individual characters. Buy them individually is obviously more expensive, just like songs in iTunes, but for people that only want 5 characters at most in the span of several seasons, it will be convenient for them.
Another good deal would b...
Microsoft is going to be the first to cut it, and it is most likely due to removing Kinect. Sales for the Xbox One won't be as good as PS4, and even if they are good enough for Microsoft (financially), they won't accept to sell less than PS4.
My guess is that by E3 next year, they will offer another SKU without Kinect, for the same price of the PS4, or even less.
