I lost any hope that they'll make games for Vita. I actually bought it for Remote Play mainly.

The only game that I want is Gravity Rush 2, and even that one, could be made for PS4.

Agreed on personal preference. I know it's a great game, and it does look great, but I won't be buying it, and I definitely wouldn't buy a PS4 for it.

FOR ME, Uncharted is a system seller, and if I didn't have a PS4 already, I would run to buy one to play Uncharted 4. For other people might be Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, who knows?

So yes, the game looks good, and hopefully it proves to be as good as it looks, and get all the praise it...

Dude, the majority of the people can only have one console, so they decide upon first party exclusives to choose what console to buy. People that can have more than one console is really the minority.

There is nothing wrong about third party exclusives. The PS2 had lots of them, and games like Ninja Gaiden started on Xbox. Actually, I would love if there were more third party exclusives for both consoles. However, Tomb Raider is different, because they re-released the game ...

After Tomb Raider, it definitely wouldn't be surprising at all, but it would get everyone angry. Imagine, after being announced PlayStation exclusive, then lie to all their fans for years, then announce it multiplatform, and then finally timed exclusive to Xbox? I don't even want to know what would happen.

With that said, it is going to be very hard, because Xbox has almost no presence at all in Japan, which is very likely that the games will launch there first.

I would agree with your comment if this was the first game. Being the first game, wouldn't be much of a problem, because, even though it would disappoint people, the developer or publisher could decide which console to put the game on.

However, this is the second game, so that would leave all those people who supported the first game with their MONEY and time, which therefore, made the sequel possible, f**d because they can't continue the story.

It&#...

" Are they that out of touch?"

If you have to ask that question, you probably have been living under a rock for the past 8 years.

Exactly! They should spend more time and money making first party games. Sony announced many first and 'second' party titles for PS4. Nintendo is surviving with first party titles (since third party support is very scarce).

I don't like that Microsoft is like the kid who ruins it for everybody because he can't have something.

Not the kind of attention that will bring more sales, though. There are a lot more people that have a PS4, so after the acceptance that it is indeed timed, they'll most likely wait.

This was a bad kind of bang. It was a megaton announcement, but one that f**ked so many gamers. After all, all that backlash forced Spencer to admit that it was timed.

I am actually more disappointed that it is cross gen. While more people will get to play it, it's not going to be a game that uses the potential of next-gem hardware.

Final Fantasy XV was announced in 2006, so I expect that to release first. The Last Guardian was announced at E3 2009. While it was a long time ago, the game had to be reengineered, so it's expected to take longer.

"What Do the Console Manufacturers Achieve By Not Being Up Front with Us?"

That's only Microsoft. I don't think that Sony or Nintendo, or any other company has tried to deceive consumers into thinking that it will only come to their console f it's not.

Sony was VERY CLEAR at their conference with which games are 100% exclusive, which ones were timed exclusive and which ones have only exclusive content (which also mentioned which ones we...

That's something I wrote yesterday. The same thing happened with Bioshock, Mass Effect and Ninja Gaiden 2. With Microsoft, the word EXCLUSIVE never means exclusive. They use that word, but they seem to never know what that means, and they only deceive people.

However, I don't get why they are doing this game cross-gen. That has to be part of the negotiation with Microsoft. They might have asked Crystal Dynamics/SE to also bring it to the 360. What a shame if it is ind...

I don't get VR. I haven't tried and I think it is a great experience when you try it for the first time. But isn't it like 3D where the novelty wears out after some time?

I am really curious to know how will Sony sell the VR headset. It looks like it might be an expensive setup, maybe in the $200 level.

Also the games. How much substance does a game for VR could really have? Will games for VR be more like mini games like most PS Move and Wii game...

You are right. It's very logical that the deal to make the game exclusive includes the payment of every potential loss that Square Enix will have for not selling the game on other platforms. They'll definitely don't lose on that part. Where they'll lose, though, is if the game doesn't sell as well on the Xbox One as their projections, which by Microsoft logic, every person that does not have an Xbox One, will run to the store and buy one to play the game. So it is very lik...

I don't think it will be used that much either, but it will be great when you need help in the game, or need someone in a game meant for multiplayer (like LBP) to get a trophy, etc.

What other features will there be in the update? I admit this is an amazing feature, but we also need the basic ones as well as fixing UI annoyances.

What I hate about this exclusivity deal is not that Tomb Raider is only on the Xbox One. What angers me is that fking Square Enix just keep fking PlayStation fans since the PS3 was released.

Everything started with FFXIII which is water under the bridge by now, but why in the hell after so many times that they confirmed and swore that Final Fantasy Versus XIII was exclusive to PS3, suddenly get announced for Xbox? and it's not that it goes to the Xbox, but because of the ...
