It's all about the games. I changed my Wii U for an Xbox One, and before I even opened it, I realized there wasn't one game from Xbox that I wanted. So FOR ME, it was useless to have an Xbox. Next day I exchanged it for a PS4.
If you like Xbox exclusives (third parties doesn't matter because you can still play them anyways) then it won't matter which resolution they are, or if multiples run better on the PS4. Mostly, because you don't have the other consol...
I just got my PS4 and these are things I think need to be implemented:
- Ability to remove icons you don't use (I'll never use Music Unlimited or Video Unlimited for example).
- Ability to sort the content area. You have this horizontal line, which I imagine gets endless when you get many games, so it would be nice if you could sort them how you want, and decide if you want them to move by recent.
-The issue with content area, is that...
I was thinking the exact same thing. We should be able to control what's on the dashboard, and then have everything else on the library. Once you choose library, you can then sort by name, type, etc. and have folders.
We should also be able to sort things in the dashboard. I hate that things move by recent, when I want them to stay where they are.
Is it the one that does not include Kinect?
As long as the PS4 sells as well as it's doing there is no way Sony will cut the price. Look at how long it took for Nintendo to reduce Wii price. There is demand for it, so there is no need yet.
Final Fantasy XV there main JRPG? If it was their main JRPG they would have released it ages ago.
I bought a PS3 one month after launch because I wanted to play FFVXIII, now I am buying a PS4!!
P.S. I need to stop trolling Square Enix articles. I always rant in them
Wrong! People are assuming it will be released next year, but Square Enix hasn't confirmed a date, not even a year.
I could assume that 2015 might be released so that it matches the XV, but who knows? it's SE.
Of course no Final Fantasy XV or Kingdom Hearts 3. Final Fantasy XV just seems like it will never be released.
Yes, the new standard of milking rereleases! Come one, we all know that Ubisoft is dying to milk that cow too, and from there everything will be history.
Well, they indeed weren't quiet, because they said a lot of things that surely regretted later, but what I mean is that they had a "deal with it" attitude at first, which improved a lot when they made the PS Blog and then released the PS3 Slim. That's why they launched PlayStation Share and they did actually listen at the beginning of it.
Right now, Sony is having that "deal with it" attitude towards firmware update and, according to this article,...
"I think people are getting to obsessed with updates. It should not be a decision on what console to buy. "
It's not about the update, but about the features, and yes, it is a factor to decide which console to buy.
You are right, gaming is first, and that's why I am choosing the PS4 over the Xbox One (I like more PS4 exclusives than Xbox's). However, it always nice to have other features so that you can enjoy the console even more for o...
It bothers me! Why Sony is being quiet about every issue? They got so good at talking with their fans with the PS3 since they released the slim model, why are they going back to early PS3 days when they were arrogant an quiet?!
"For instance, there are still not voice messaging on the X1."
But at least Microsoft is adding features monthly. Sony is not even doing anything, so unless Sony brings a massive firmware update, by the end of the year, the Xbox One will have much more features, and even the features that are missing.
I am a PS fan and I will buy a PS4 this week, and I can say that I really like how Microsoft is improving the Xbox One every month with the updates. I've said it a lot of times, that Sony is dropping the ball big time regarding this. I mean, the PS4 doesn't have features that even PS2 had, and the PS3 has had since launch! It is very disappointing!
I don't think so. If you are using listening mode, then why would you bother with the 'exploit', and if you are playing hard or grounded difficulty, then what's the point if you are going to cheat with photo mode? Go back to normal..
and the tech demo wasn't even done by Nintendo.
Actually they are wrong. That wasn't a tech demo for Zelda 64, that was a tech demo used to showcase N64 3D graphics (or mostly, that the N64 could do real 3D graphics without tricks)
The real tech demo looked closer to the final game, but still had a lot of polish missing. (I'll post an image when I find it).
EDIT: found this video: http://youtu.be/2aXa5Hyplyc
Although it...
While I like the tech demo that was shown at E3 for Wii U. I think there's so much more that can be done with the art style that it's going to be used in the game.
I also think that they chose that art style so that they have more room to make it bigger and seamless, since a realistic art style would've used more power of the Wii U.
I like it much better, and I am happy that they made it an evolved art style of Wind Waker, and not Skyward Sword ...
Why is Sony being jerks when it comes to firmware updates? Why is it so hard for them to be transparent with the issue and tell us what is going on. Is it really hard to make a blog post about what updates are coming and when will they come?
My guess is that they will not release a slim for a couple of years. It has already been reported that they are reducing costs of the PS4.
In terms of design, I think they will go for the exact same, but just shrunk. More like how the PS2 slim (and second slim) was just a shrunk model from the original)
