I think they will always call it Mario Kart, but since they announced Link and Villager, it is very possible that Mario Kart 9 will have characters from most Nintendo franchises.
The most exciting part of having characters from other franchises other than new tracks is that they can make new items and change the game completely.
Nintendo has realized that no matter how many versions of 3DS they come up with, they sell like hotcakes. It happened with every iteration of DS and the 3DS, that's why they are doing the NEW 3DS.
I find it a good idea to make this new revision. This is being done to expand the 3DS life cycle.
My theory is that the rumors of an integrated handheld in the new nintendo console is going to be true. So by expanding the life of the 3DS, it gives Nintendo a ch...
The only confusing thing is the name. Put another name, and it's just a different console. It's not like people get confused by Street Figher and Ultra Street Fighter, for example. People know it's a different version of a game, which has newer features.
However, as long as it has another name other than NEW 3DS, because in my understanding, that would mean it's just a new design, not a new console that will have exclusive games that won't be able to be pl...
After seeing that this new 3DS has ZL and ZR buttons, that's something that Sony should have done with the PS Vita to have L2 and R2. Make L1 and R1 smaller, and put the other two, just like they are in the new 3DS.
I've worked on customer service and retail. Believe me when I tell you that people ARE retarded. People are more than retarded. People go beyond more than retarded. You wouldn't even fathom their existence when you meet one person like that, but believe me, there are a lot of people like that.
That's why they shouldn't call it "NEW" if it comes out in US and Europe. If they call it Super 3DS like everyone is suggesting, it will be very clear which games are playable only on the new handheld.
Agreed! Since they are using Super Nintendo colored buttons, they could've called it Super Nintendo 3DS, or Nintendo 3DS Pro (like suggested above). There's a million ways they could have called it without getting rid of the name 3DS.
Maybe, if this thing comes to US and Europe (very likely) it's called different. It might be easier in Japan to have it as NEW 3DS, since I don't think they say NEW in English when referring to an unused product, so they would be...
Nintendo is making a mess with the 3DS. They release a 2DS which has confused people, because they don't know if it's the same and if it can play the same games. Now they launch the NEW 3DS, which will confuse people because they will start to release games exclusive to the new handheld.
In Japan, there will not be much problem, because they buy anything DS. I can already see millions of sales for this console, but nonetheless, is confusing for the average consumer. ...
Why did they put the buttons in colors like the SNES controller in the normal 3DS but did NOT put them in the 3DS LL? Dammit!
It was expected though, this game suddenly went into a dark corner and sat there quietly. It is better to have a delay to make the game better. This is the kind of game that if they don't take time to develop it correctly, it could release with a lot of bugs.
SANTA CLAUS DOESN'T EXIST??????????????!!
They don't even know about any other type of video other than .mp4, how would they even realize twitch exist?
How's the rumble triggers in the Xbox One controller? I've never had a chance to try them out. Is it a good addition? Could it become something standard for future controllers?
Nintendo has done an EXCELLENT job with the Mario Kart DLC! They have a lot of content, and for a EPIC price. This is how DLC should be done EVERY TIME!
OT: I hope there are other two DLC announced after these. However, this is the beginning of a new Mario Kart. I am pretty sure that MK 9 will bring many more characters from other franchises. I for one, am very happy that this is going in that direction. They will have many more options and possibilities to do new tracks with...
First, they always lie, so that's no indication that it will or will not be at TGS.
Second, they will have a conference on September 1st.
We have seen gameplay. The trailer that was shown at E3 2009 had gameplay.
Actually, it could be likely. Every time there's a patent registered, they show it sooner rather than later. The same thing happened with Entwined.
Mario Kart Wii U bundle is amazing and great value.
Destiny White PS4 bundle is great because the console is white (and also good value)
Xbox One... I like Sunset Overdrive bundle, because it's the only game for Xbox that I am interested at the moment, and also the console is white, and at the same price.
People who buy an Xbox One without Kinect, it very likely that they don't want it in the first place. They priced Kinect at $150 to "force" people who are on the fence about which SKU to buy, to get the one with Kinect included.
I liked your review, but I think it is worth mentioning the battle arenas, which makes the game more valuable and definitely more fun, however, you failed to mention them. The story is indeed very short, but this is a DLC, not a full game, even though it was sold as stand-alone. It was only meant to expand the story that was told about Fetch.
I have a great time with the battle arenas. Even though I earned the challenge that I was going for, I found myself not wanting to sto...
