The exclusivity deal is a jerk move from Square Enix, not Microsoft. They obviously did it to prevent PS to have it, but Square Enix shouldn't have accept it. However, money talks and there is nothing in businesses that can't be bought.
Yeah, Microsoft is not thinking long term since the 360. They should spend those bottomless checks into new development teams and studios.

I've said many times that I mostly hate indie games, but the games that were announced at Gamescom are truly impressive, and I hope all of them are good. I also hope that this is the beginning of better and bigger indie games, instead of those SNES look- alike games. After all, they might be indies, but they have received a lot of support from Sony and -in some way-Microsoft.
Am I the only one who thinks that the game being cross-gen is a bigger disappointment than it being exclusive or timed exclusive?

If they make another, they should back to its roots from Dead Space 1. Everybody was praising it for being the game that replaced Resident Evil after it became and action game, but then Dead Space went that route too. How sad and disappointing.
I loved Gravity Rush on PS Vita. It's the only retail game I have for it, but I would love Gravity Rush 2 for PS4, only because I would love a much bigger world and many things to do.

If there's a time limit, then it just a marketing ploy disguised as a feature. It's then just meant to exists so that your friends try out the game and go buy it themselves.
Whatever, being timed, means that I won't have any use for it, but hopefully other people get advantage of it, if they like it. After all, more options are better.
