Ghostbusters wasn't developed with the PS3 as lead platform.
It was released as a timed PS3 exclusive because the publishers went under a few months before release time, so Sony said they'd publish it if they got it first.
360 was definitely the lead though.

Tomb Raider 1.
The first game in that genre to make it big is surely the genre-defining one.
Although Uncharted 2 is the best game in the genre, Tomb Raider built that genre.
I love Uncharted 1 and Resistance 1, but I can't agree with GOTY 2007. Resistance came out in 06 anyway.
But as for Uncharted in 07? That was the year Oblivion came out on PS3, Portal 1, Mass Effect 1 and Bioshock were released on PC and Xbox, Super Mario Galaxy on Wii, God of War 2 on PS2, and Call of Duty 4 came out on everything.
Other notable releases that year (but not on the level of those mentioned above) were The Orange Box, Halo 3, Crysis, Phantom Hourglass, Pokem...

Single-player gaming is generally better than online anyway. And absolutely NOTHING beats local multiplayer.

I have Final Fantasy VII on my PSP, and that's where it's gotten more play time than anything. Half hour trips on the train, hell, even a boring lecture gets turned into Final Fantasy!

I honestly don't know what to think- heart says yes, heads says surely such a legendary title would be multiplatform. But then I remember that Ocarina of Time is coming out on 3DS, which does actually lend credence to this.

As far as I read it, only the online is removed, so you can still play local, if that's enough for you.

It's only the ONLINE multiplayer that's being affected.
Most people (I know it's not everyone, before you guys jump on me) only played local multiplayer on their PS2.
I know that was the case for myself and my friends here in Ireland, anyway.
The game will still have multiplayer though. And it will be the best kind- split-screen.
