What the $40? I’m sold. And it’s nice to see EA learning from the debacle that was Battlefront 2 launch
An indie team remaking Deus Ex is all well and good, but won’t the development get shut down by Square?
And wouldn’t they know that this may be the eventuality and may be wasting their time?
Oh hell yeah. Jedi Outcast for $5 and Doom 1 for under $3. I’m sold.
Good cuz it was expensive.
CGI trailers do nothing for a video game when there’s no actual gameplay to show. The models all look like the CGI from Battlefront 2.
I’m hoping for a spiritual successor to Rogue Squadron.
It’s definitely a Lost Legacy type of title, but it’s more than just porting PS4 Spidey I think.
Me too. Peter Parker is my Spider-Man, but I’ll play the Miles version to hold me over. I think I’d be more excited if it were on PS4 as well.
MS really needs to reinvent Halo. They need to take more risks. I love Halo, but like Gears, the lack of real change makes it feel like we’re playing the same game with a new coat of paint.
Wow. Every game huh? I can’t wait for Spider-Man, Ratchet and Clank, Gran Turismo, and Horizon on Xbox.
Cool. I do hope it takes some cues from the Rogue Squadron games.
Hopefully there’s a Naboo Starfighter in the game. I love that ship.
They want the mark of the PS imprinted on our hands!!! They want to own us! Ha.
It’s cool tho. It reminds of Superman’s S logo in Superman Returns.
I never got this back in the day. I look forward to it.
Now if someone would remaster Black.
What happens if XX publisher loses XX license? That game goes the way of the dodo. With all this talk of preserving games’ history, going all digital means that publishers can also control that history and the future of games. Gamers would have no preowned games they want to sell. Budget gamers would have to wait for a possible sale, which publishers wouldn’t necessarily need to do. Returns are a royal pain in the ass. There’s the possibility of losing all your games you spent hard earned mon...
I’m sorry but there’s no rapture/end of physical game media like the author said. It’s in the fact that there IS A DISC DRIVE version of the PS5. I’d gladly pay the extra scratch for the drive. I don’t have a 4k Blu Ray player, and I absolutely hate streaming movies. I prefer physical games cuz I feel that they’re more reliable; especially when I had to replace my PS360 a couple of times. AND you CANNOT DELIST A PHYSICAL GAME! I can simply go on eBay and buy what I missed out on
There’s a comparison on Eurogamer. Someone took the disc slot and USB port and used those measurements to scale it to other consoles. It’s the tallest vertically with the OG PS3 coming in second.
Maybe logging into PSN will let you re-download your games? I’m a disc person myself, but I don’t think the overlooked the digital gamers. It’s a pain either way. When digital or physical, you’re always greeted with install times and updates of updates.
Was the video game console dying? Coulda fooled me. I think the fact that Stadia wasn’t the next big thing, in streaming/gaming, showed that consoles aren’t going anywhere for a while. Especially when they’re more popular than ever.
I can hear the guns locked and loaded from both sides.
What the? Only 4 hours? And locked in first person. I’m sold and sold.
I love games I can finish in a weekend. I mean I pay $30 for 4K Blu Ray sometimes. $40 isn’t that bad.
