Some of that friction, like the no load times, can be done on current gen.
Blame the PS2. I think the jump from PS1 to 2 is what everyone expects, but at this point, is wholly unrealistic.
Vader is the lightsaber game everyone wanted since the inception of The Wii.
How long have you been waiting to use the term “Hayter hater”?
Yes and it was terrible. He’s Snake, not Dante.
Yes. All those things mixed with a realistic Snake is why MGS is awesome.
I would love a remake if they stayed true to Snake’s character. I hated Twin Snakes because Solid Snake wasn’t true to the character. He wouldn’t be doing aerial backflips and cartwheels to dodge bullets or fire a sniper rifle. Kojima had a military advisory to ground Snake in reality while facing unrealistic scenarios.
They look like midgets fighting. Why does arcade gameplay always have to have “stylized” artwork?
I was surprised. This was a PS2 game. Is the upgrades really that taxing for the PS4?
Remember too that Naughty Dog wasn’t Naughty Dog as we know it. Math games? Way of the Warrior? ND evolved and became great from small beginnings.....
Holy Crap! Uncharted 1’s theme. Mind blown!!!!!
The OG PS3 isn’t worth that much especially considering the msrp; it’s one of the reasons I haven’t sold mine
There was no PS1 version
They uprezzed the FMV sequence? I don’t remember any FMV on the N64
Now if only someone can make the original Tomb Raider with ray tracing. I’m sure Tomb’s triangle boobs will also look insanely realistic
And?........ What’s he gonna do?
Peppy Hare. 😢
I got mine for free
They brought up Star Wars and the Rings movie. Even tho I’m all excited about this game, the fact that the PS1 game was one shot release from beginning to end, makes it feel like this is incomplete. It’s not like the Star Wars saga, but more like if they broke up A New Hope into 3 parts.
Maybe it was the headline? It claims big announcements and how some were staggering.
I disagree. Devs always have/had the option to change the resolution to enhance graphics/gameplay. Even before 4k, the leap wasn’t as dramatic as PS1 vs PS2. It’s just how technology evolves. It’s coming to the point where everything is so powerful that how good a game looks will come down to art style, not ray tracing or 4k.
