I'm pretty sure that was what the developer meant. Character models and environments are one thing and the calculations used to process the physics of every destructible part is another. Maxing out a console isn't always about what is rendered on screen.
I consider RE5 a westernized japanese game. Compare Chris' look to Leon. Leon had a traditional skinny Japanese design. Chris is all roided up and buffed like a traditional American design. So it looks to me that Capcom is trying to adapt to the Western dominance in the marketplace. At least Capcom has nothing to worry about.
I agree plus it's designed so that you can just complete a mission here and there without sitting for hours in front of the tv

If only the 360 had the ps3's more natural color timing. Or if only the ps3 had the 360's textures. That's pretty much how I feel on the graphics. The real thing that matters to me, though, is if the game goes Bang Bang, I'm getting it on the 360 (RE5). If it goes Slash Slash (DMC4) i get it on the ps3.
I'm pretty sure multiplatform games built for the Xbox 360's dvd drive would play fine. As long as you don't wanna play PS3 exclusives, your good to go.
It's a dark day for gamers. Soon Microsoft and Sony will follow suit and next thing you know we'll have "Gears of War Party" or "Metal Gear Solid Tennis"
360 fanboys should buy a ps3. Seriously, if you do, Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2, will all of the sudden, become the best looking games you've seen.

I think for a true comparison, they should remove "playstation 3" and "xbox 360" from the video and replace them with
"system A" and "system 1". Then let gamers decide, it'll at least keep the fanboys at bay for fear of supporting the wrong console.
I've played through GTA 4 three times. while I do like it, there are just too many NEW games to occupy my time. So I won't be getting the DLC for it. Seriously, $50 mil could buy a new exclusive IP instead of DLC for a multiplatform game.

I do too, I think that the original looked more "everyman" than the sequel. The beard he's got going on makes him look more like the bad guy at the end of uncharted 1
Does anyone think that Nintendo as a company is holding him back creatively? it seems like they are forcing him to follow the direction their company is headed which is the casual game/toy company. This just doesn't seem like the same man who created magic up until the Gamecube.

Guy's not funny. He's a glorified clown. Put him in a movie with Ben Stiller and Will Farrell and you'll officially have the un-funniest movie ever made. But I can see why kids love him. You don't need an IQ to find him hilarious.
