“The illusion of HDR” without being actually implemented? Hmmm. Doesn’t sound good at all. I’d rather they implement it properly. I mean it’s for PS5 games, I’d think it would be automatic to implement HDR natively. Xbox version of auto HDR seems to be hit and miss.
I’m fine with owning dozens of games than paying to borrow hundreds of games I may not have the time to play.
Well, it looks like those unskippable ads will be making a return next year.
MS had to be aware of this, and still going through with the purchase shows MS doesn’t feel like this lawsuit is all that threatening

@Lady. They’re depending mostly on their back catalogue of Xbox/360, and multi platform games. As long as they got new multiplats coming for the XSX, they don’t care about exclusives. I think they want to avoid “only on Series X” when a PC gamer or X1 gamer fires up Game Pass.

.....Pretty lame Milhouse. Except, possibly, Halo (which is still coming to my $500, no HDR, 900p X1), none of those games make buying a series X worthwhile, let alone preordering the system.
Dunno why it’s all of a sudden a bad thing to play a quality game on Pro. I can’t afford a 5 yet but I ain’t got qualms playing on 4 Pro.
The irony is that the PS4 loading scenes, while fast traveling, are one of my favorite parts of the game. It added a lot to the character. I wonder if they’ll be optional on PS5

I guess when a situation like Red Dead 2 or Resident Evil 2 had messed up HDR implementation, this should be more effective
