If they had all games backwards compatible, and if the price was $200 lower, I would have probably bought an X, but I feel burned buying a One only to have an improved version released later at the same price.
I don’t get it. I have PS+ and $0, vs the $120 I payed for both, sure looks free to me.

I sure as hell cant tell anymore and I’m glad. I’d rather take 1440p with movie assets than 4k with assets built for video games because that’s where I’ll see the difference, in the assets.

After wading through all the historical nonsense, the author pretty much sums it up with pretty much just that. It’s a matter of preference. Literally that’s the article in a nut shell and is something people here have already deduced without reading it. (I had to read it. Epic really gave a taste of next-gen graphics. Something I was skeptical about until now. But petty people are trying desperately trying to find all the little faults instead of focusing in all the positive achievements UE5 is bringing in 2021.
It looks good, but it’s not mind blowing. I think there are current gen games that look better; like Ghosts of Tsushima, Cyberpunk, Last of Us 2.
