My wife and I have already logged 23+ hours, and just have finished Feros. We've done mostly sidequests thus far, so we could level up our character and sqadmates as much as possible, without playing the central storyline. Of course, we're true gamers, and rpg fans...we spent over 300+ hours on Morrowind and Oblivion, EACH. Casual blowhards, like the guy at LoadingReality.com, will just blow through the central story, never bother with dialog, and miss out on 75% of the game. I never let ...
Ignorance and inbreeding promote racism and homophobic hate....NOT gaming online. The anonymity of being able to hide behind the ethernet curtain only allows it to happen without consequence. :o
...I guess they don't bother reading reviews of games that get annual rehashes. Hell, the TH games have been coming out annually for awhile, and are pretty much recycled garbage. You know you're doing something wrong, when EA can make a knockoff of your popular franchise, and 1-UP you on their first time out. And of course everyone knows the story with COD...or at least SHOULD know: IW gets the even #d games, and Treyarch gets the odds.....which means 5,7,9,etc will all be sh1tacular wast...
I remember G4TV's "Game franchises that need to die" series. I think 'Wild Arms' eventually made the list ; if not, it will now. What a stupid, sh*tty franchise. :D
Beat me to it! :p
...or they're in trouble as well. Now that COD is done with WWII, and MOH is dead in the water (since Frontlines), they'll have a tough time convincing people that a WWII shooter can be fun again.
Last gen, the PS2 got the early start...with inferior hardware...and yet maintained an edge, as the lead platform for multi-platform games, because of sales. Now the tables have turned, accept that MS also has PC in it's corner as well. Thankfully, the Wii really doesn't factor in, since it's hardware is way too weak...and last-gen...to be used as even the LCD lead-platform. Most multi-platform titles on the Wii, use entirely different devs, different game engines, and typically get much w...
He only said it would be up to the publisher....NOTHING MORE. If, to you, that means "a PS3 port is upon us", then you might want to go back to 3rd grade. :o
1.) In M.E., you aren't really choosing "what to say", but rather "how to say it". If you haven't figured that out, and how to get a the desired response, you should probably just stop playing.
2.) What exactly would you expect to be able to do, anyway? Talk into your headset, and have the game lipsync your response, and also have the NPC respond to whatever you said....ALL IN REALTIME??
Mass Effect is actually the BEST example of how la...
...has been an industry problem since HALO 2. That was the first AAA game to get a "free pass" by the reviewers, even though it was a VERY distracting, and ugly glitch; likewise, HALO 3 got a similar pass, with the horrifically ugly human character models/faces.
This gen, it seems every UE3=powered game has had a MAJOR problem with this....INCLUDING Gears of War. It could be one of the things that spurred Silicon Knights to sue Epic.
Regardless, Mass Effect i...
No game has given my wife and I more reasons to say "Wow!" more, and we've played through some epic games together. The scope, character design, scripting, storytelling, cinematic in-game cutscenes...it all blends into one amazing game.
By contrast, I downloaded the XBLA Katamari demo, and thought "Wow...THIS is what all the fuss was about?! No WONDER I gave up on the PS2 5 years ago." This Takahashi guy REALLY SHOULD get out of making games. :o
...are a f*cking moron. :o
This is going NOWHERE. :o
I thought this was a full-3D game. :(
LOL...I remember when Sony first showcased the 'Project Assassin' teaser, saying "...only possible with the power of Cell/PS3...". :D
Only if the "shot" is a fart in the wind. :o
6-12 months beyond when 360 gamers get to play. :)
No love from Europe either, I see. :p
That car spent most of the time in the air, then basically did one end-over-end on the ground. I spent about 45 minutes with the demo last night, and you'll get a lot of different damage scenarios, depending on speed, what you hit, how many times you flip/roll, etc.....just like in real life. Now, I'm still not gonna say the damage is ultra-realistic...not on par with DIRT, by any means...but it's pretty damn close. The physics of the car hitting things is a bit off, but the damage modelin...
"Roughly 95 percent of the planets in Mass Effect’s universe are covered in mountains, but the tank climbs terribly. Steering is an exercise in futility, and occasionally a subterranean worm will pop out of the ground and kill you.."
The Mako steers and climbs EXACTLY like Halo's Warthog, just without the rear-wheel steering....and is VERY EASY to master. One of my favorite things to do, is climb to the highest point on every planet, and checkout the surrounding vie...
