There wasn't even an ICO 2...SotC was more of a spiritual successor.
At any rate, the screen shows nothing to get excited about...very low detail, and nothing game-defining about it. The last we saw of the young lad and lass, they washed up together on a beach...and that's not a beach. :/
When you consider this game will be a CONSISTENT jaw-dropper, whether played on PS3 or 360, it trounces the overblown spend-$2000-if-you-want-to-pla y-the-real-deal Crysis. In fact, this time around, the console version of a Far Cry game will sell better, AND look better than the PC version...and with ZERO GUESSWORK. Buy the game, pop it in, and you're playing within a few minutes...no spec-checking, hardware updating, tweaking, or installion needed.
Nothing noteworthy has really changed since MGS on PS1. Snake still has to listen to annoying messages from the Otacon nerd, same robotic movements (BTW, does Snake have a Lazy Susan attached to his belly when he's crawling?) and the A.I. is as pathetic as ever.

There are over 10 MILLION Gold subscribers on Live...and only about 6 million freeloaders, at the most, on PSN. Even if only 1/2 of the Live subscribers download the demo, and 75% of PSN users do...more will still be downloaded over Live.

...the PS2 continues to hinder the progress of gaming. MS did the right thing by abandoning the XBOX, so there would be no last-gen console to drag down the quality of next-gen games. Unfortunately, Sony is still so dependent on the PS2...because the PS3 is still struggling...that many multiplatform games are STILL based off the weak LCD PS2 hardware. Half of the 360 launch titles suffered due to this, and 2+ years later, it's STILL happening. F#ck you Sony...f#ck you very much.
...maybe the millions that enjoyed ASSASSIN'S CREED?? This uses the same engine, and will share many gameplay characteristics with AC, but with a much more advanced physics simulation. Pretty much everything in the environment can be used as a weapon, and/or interacted with.
I doubt MS will have no problem losing out on over a 1/2 BILLION $$ (and counting) in revenue each year. :o

Most of the "exclusive" titles Sony was flaunting as "only possible with the power of Cell/PS3" back in 2005...ended up being on 360 as well, and better than the PS3 version. VF5, DMC4, FNR3, Assassin's Creed...they all ended up biting Sony in the rear. :D
These BS "I just got a 360, and it only lasted 10 minutes" stories only carried weight in late 2005 to early 2006. DMC4, Bladestorm, VF5, Assassin's Creed, FNR3, VT3....all originally "PS3 exclusive". Trust me, with the tremendous sales gap between PS3 and 360 games AND consoles, Ubi won't keep this game exclusive. Once it's finally released, the "official" announcement for 360/PC WILL be made...count on it.
