I wouldn't be quick to blame either. People should become educated and start think more before jumping to conclusions(not referring to you although I advise keeping an open mind).
I appreciate your perspective but it's a fact that some of the most dangerous places in the world have strict laws regarding these things.

Sony (and Guerilla Cambridge) has me thoroughly surprised. Hopefully they will surprise me again by marketing the heck out of it, which would probably guarantee Vita's success, and provide us with lots of people to play online for a long time.

I wanted to be mad at you for mentioning so and so, however, your comment is spot on.

Scrapcom making a buck here, a buck there....

Perhaps they think they have hit on a winner.

Expect them to release yearly rehashes carrying the title RE Revelations 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. a SUPER way to reinvent themselves.

Business team assuming they have mistakenly stumbled upon some cashcow game formula, instead of realizing the importance of crafting quality titles, will make an effort to tack on some cool features like online competitive MP, ...

Yeah, Sony's marketing here in the states pales in comparison to their competition. Many people here still buy Playstation due to word of mouth and their own "research"

Not sure it makes sense to market the heck out of it until they really plan on focusing on supporting it though. I would love to make a Move title personally.

Yeah, I forgot Bioshock infinite and other upcoming games featured Move support.

Maybe move is doing exactly what Sony wanted and just serving as a (very good) motion control option rather than their main focus.

I think if they wanted it to sell more they would release some killer Move-exclusive apps and crank out a quality marketing campaign.

Sony's marketing here in the states has left me puzzled and speculating for a few years though. ...

I would like to see that. Wouldn't mind if they acquired platinum games as well. I could be wrong about this, but I like the way Sony has treated their devs and they seem to encourage innovation. At least more so than other companies, which is why unique games like Heavy Rain exist.

As long as they don't focus more on graphics than gameplay that would be amazing. I have a feeling they will try to keep Ps4 dev costs reasonably low though.

WTF I just checked into darksiders for the first time and it looks amazing. Some of the Okami devs/etc. working with these guys would be perfect. Here's to hoping enough of them end up at whichever studio is right for them. Sony Santa Monica OR Platinum would have me at ease.

"I actually expected a little more professionalism from you." really? Oh I see, "a little more". I get it.

I think one thing this site teaches people is to not really expect journalistic integrity.

Phew. They probably want this to stand out with the attention of sore thumb, but I'm not buying it, and don't really care what they have to say.

I think the consensus is in and they do not seem to be apart of it.

I'm playing through Chrono Trigger for the first time on DS. Disappointed I missed it a while back but grateful to be able to play it for the first time.

It's possible that some of the MS hate was misdirected at him. Among other things i'm sure.

I've heard a lot of people say, "If people only owned a Vita, they would know how amazing it really is". I think this is the truth and it speaks volumes about how underrated the system is. If people KNEW how amazing it was. The marketing team should get on that, because a lot of people here in the US still don't know what the PS3 has to offer.

Agree completely, especially with your first paragraph.

4755d ago 8 agree2 disagreeView comment

I agree. VERY strong exclusives and Nintendo's excellent marketing team pretty much guarantee some level of success for this console.

Though I am not buying one right away, imaging what the future holds for this system will probably lead me to buy one at some point in the near future.

The graphics are definitely epic. Further proving that the PS3 will indeed live up to it's planned 10+ year lifecycle.

Imagination and creativity enable devs to make use of older hardware and create amazing experiences.

I hope this game inspires other devs to take chances and make use of what is already availble to them...

....instead of asking for top notch hardware before learning how to create unique games first.

Please bookmark this page so that if/when it doesn't come out for WiiU, you can look back and see why it's not always smart to make assumptions.

Also, the 3DS couldn't run this game, it would have to be completely overhauled.

The Wii U and 3DS will likely have their own amazing games released.

Wouldn't mind seeing a Vita cross buy for this though :]

I agree logic.

"but will 2013 be the best year in gaming?"

....and the fact that some of these great games are coming out for 6 year old systems further proves that games don't need to have some of the absolute best graphics to be some of the best gaming experiences.

Lower production costs also lead to more creative games. Which is why I'm okay with bringing on a new gen provided we can find a way to keep production costs lo...

I prefer to own a physical copy of any high quality game! Ni No Kuni is CERTAINLY no exception.

I'm actually thinking of getting the Wizard/special edition. I've been keeping my eyes on this game for possibly years.

Here in America sex is one of the primary tools used to sell. Many people do not agree with the PC bs that you refer to and we try to stay away from it. However, what you are referring to is foisted upon us without our consent in many cases. Either way, your comment is a bit harsh for a response to such a simple statement.

As far as the game goes, yes, the sexual appeal is one of it's selling points. It may need it, because from what I can tell, it lacks the same magic it...

Yeah if nint copied them, then they must have copied the Nintendo DS, according to that faulty logic.
