Your question is legitimate. I said probably because I'm not sure but I would replace it with possibly. I suppose by "us" I was referring MOSTLY to gamers. Without going into detail, I'm wary about where things heading in general. "Apps" repacing "programs", tablets replacing more powerful, more customizable hardware, etc. Maybe I'm afraid to see my quality dedicated consoles/pc games replaced with some lame alternatives.
I think it would probably be better for all of us in the long run if they just went away.
Panda, people are excited and happy for the new PS4. Maybe you should just let them have fun.
I think we can rest assured that the PS4 and PC games will have amazing graphics and move on to looking forward to some great games.
Also, the PS4 has many of the qualities of a PC. It also has new AMD APU technology that is not/will not be offered to the consumer market in it's current form. See yewles comment below.
The fact that they destroy peoples excitement for a new toy(PS4) is disturbing to me.
My current PC, my new build with AMD A10 APU, and PS4 will all have great graphics. I am pretty content with that fact. Some people like to bicker over minor technicalities. Time for them to readjust their focus on actually playing good games.
I agree with you, but maybe he's talking about limiting the multiplayer a bit in order to allow for 3G limitations, etc.
An option to play my Vita games through physical(or wireless) connectivity with my PS3/PS4 would be nice too.
It is really cool, but I'm not sure if that is the dev kit Vita or some other special version.

Exactly, Defoe is the man. A few others might be welcome as well but this is NOT the movie industry.

Defoe is perfect for this and one of the actors I welcome into the video game industry. He is very well respected yet manages to keep a somewhat low profile.
Thanks. I was actually going to say "CPU/GPU" or CPU/GPU combo, but my explanation needed to be more accurate and so does my own understanding. I'll definitely be doing some reading to learn more about how the hardware is going to work.
How much better it is will depend on how amazing AMDs APU solution ends up being. An APU is essentially a CPU that functions as a GPU and the more efficiently it utilizes that fast GDDR5 the better. It could end up being an absolute beast. I think a lot of people will be very happy and only haters will be disappointed.

There are many games I would prefer owning a physical copy of anyway. I think this is one of them.
I agree, I would rather see most (at least action titles) PS4 games @ 720/60FPS than 1080/30 FPS.
That is if I had to choose of course. I also agree that certain types of games would be fine at lower FPS.

It would benefit Sony to continually hype the PS4. Especially with the conveniently timed "articles" telling everyone why they shouldn't be hyped.

It was there for the same time they have been taking their time pushing the Move, because they knew it would be around for another 10 years. Just like they were taking their sweet time marketing the Vita, knowing very well that people will be playing PS4 games on it ten years from now.
