I dont know how anyone could buy XB1/PS4 at launch^^ There are soo many things we don't know and the launch line up doesn't really interest me at all. The only thing that would have changed my mind would have been backwards compatibility. And that is off the table for the moment.

I played zombiu, resident evil and assassin's creed 3 on wii u. All 3 games are rated 18+ in my country. So how does this system not offer mature titles for mature gamers? I'm looking forward to bayonetta 2 and will buy it on day one.

I see it the same way as the author. We will get an xbox360/ps3 with updated graphics and new controllers (in case of PS badly needed). We will play 1st person and 3rd person shooters, some racing games and gow beat em ups with graphics that look about the same as recent PC optimized titles (The Witcher 2 or Crysis 3 pc).
Imho there is nothing wrong with that but if you want something new and interesting gameplay wise --> WiiU.

Don't forget there was nothing exciting about the 360 either and you even had to pay for online. But everyone had to play halo... Console hardware and features do not really matter all that much. If there is one or two games people MUST have they will buy a system.
IMHO every exclusive sucks. It makes you spend more money on something you already own... You own a device that plays video games but exclusives make you buy another device that does exactly the same thing. That sucks for US the consumer.

Face it guys the new consoles are basically PCs. The Devs behind The Witcher series are very used to the x86 environment. Look at Witcher 2 for PC its absolutely stunning, it looks 10x better than the 360 version.
Its so much easier to make a game for x86 than for the PS3 where you had to fiddle around for 6 months before you got anything working.

-PS4 has the strongest hardware followed closely by xb1. (That is interesting for the hardcore gamer who actually knows and cares about those kind of things, usually people you see on sites like this one)

It's impossible to make a game this big with so many variables as Skyrim completely bugfree. They had to test for years to find all the bugs... If you want the best experience with these kinda games you have to play on PC anyway. Elders Scrolls games are PC games at heart and always will be. At the beginning of the game they tend to spam keys to "warm up" because in the later stages of the game when you are attacking and controlling your base at the same time shit goes wild.
