I have tried a couple out and agree, takes time to get acustomed to it however, a find good wheel is the only way of getting the degree of steering accuracy, braking and acceleration needed to really compete.
I have stopped playing GT5 for a while. I need to save up for a proper driving wheel as the standard controller just does not give me the degree of control I require.
They also need to fix multiplayer, throw in some matchmaking and better game searches. Its silly how they group Europe and Australia in a single search, they're like opposite sides of the globe!
Lets wait and see. K2 was a brilliant game yet did not have very long legs in terms of multiplayer. In addition to the control issues (which I didn't mind at all) too many players resorted to dirty tactics and exploiting glitches which ruined the game, resulting in very few people playing it compared to other multiplayer games at present (i.e. try playing a game in NZ/OZ as you'll be lucky to find a game).
Another thing that surprised me with K2 were the lack of p...
Well, Move will show just how good motion controls will work with an FPS in Feb...Killzone 3. However, Kinect would need some sort of physical control to work.
Maybe game prices will fall. All the noise developers make over piracy hurting game sales and yet games are generally cheaper on 360 and PC.
I think its worth the price. The maps it introduces are really good and there is nothing like flushing out a hiding space with the flame thrower. Love some of the underground tunnels and bunkers as well.
If I were you I'd just play the regular BC2 maps for a while and see if the game is for you before investing more. BC2 can be played in a run'n'gun style but teams that do that often come off second best.
Agree. But would rather put up with glitchy stats than go back to playing COD.
BF:BC2 Vietnam is pure brilliance!
Battlefield Bad Company 2 should be higher on that list. Even before the Vietnam pack it had better multiplayer than Black Ops.
PSP might be selling bucket loads of consoles but that's certainly not refleted in those game sales. Looks like pirates won that battle.
I like the idea but visually it needs improvement.
Its definitely one of the easier Pac-Man games but it can get difficult if you get the timing wrong. Its really about trying to build up the best score possible in the time limit.
Its fun but you'll probably only put a couple of hours into it.
I love all the disagrees on my earlier post. I have played GT5 for about 30 hours and love the game however, to me its one of the most graphically impressive and graphically disappointing games on the PS3.
At times it looks incredible like when you're driving the London track however, I'm then distracted by screen tearing and texture pop-in. Sure they are not big deals but I do find them distracting.
As for the trees what I find most distracting is ...
Was not a big fan of Shatter. It looked and sounded great but its a game that's best played with a mouse or trackball, like the original Arkanoid in the arcades all those years ago.
Seems like a great candidate for Move support or something that would work well with Kinect if it were available on the 360.
I agree in respect to the track and general roadside features but if GT looked as good as the real life video then GT5 would be racing heaven.
I've said it before and I'll say it again the trees in GT5 let things down.
I think it provides better value than the Wii. With 8 million Kinect units out there I just hope we see some real innovation in 2011 and not just next gen EyeToy games.
The attitude of some people is incredible. Basically if they don't get what they want they thinks it's ok to take it.
Ok, now support those people who have supported Kinect by releasing some real killer titles for it. Sony had every opportunity to make the PS3Eye a success on the PS3 but they did nothing with it until MS came along with Kinect.
EA recently released a game called "Create" I think. From the reviews and gameplay footage I have seen it appears EA were trying to use a turd to ride the LBP train.
Could you zoom in/out when playing the PSP and how did it control?
Game really suits a touchscreen.
The price is one thing but how will this game play on the PSP. This is one of those games that I think works best with a touch screen.
Yeah, but he should have been convicted for Blade 3 and not tax evasion.
@LeShin: I know he hated it but he should still be punished for having done it otherwise we'll all be forgiving Mel Gibson for being a turd burgler as well. Actually, put wife beaten Mel and Kunta Kinte (Snipes) in the same cell and tell Snipes that Mel thinks slavery is a myth as well!
