Are you serious? There hasn't been a single case of this type of DRM policy stopping piracy that I know of. DRM is mainly notorious for being a hassle for nobody but consumers, and this particular style is not only especially inconvenient, but it really crosses a line that others don't. THAT is what they should've learned from the PSN outage, who the real bearers of the punishment are when they become so obsessed with piracy that they treat all their consumers like criminals. <...

Do the reading, he said "press conference".

Capcom makes me sick to my stomach lately. They really are becoming the leaders of this offensive (and ultimately futile, if the pretense of piracy is to be believed) DRM push. You'd think they learned their lesson after PSN users were unable to play Bionic Commando for 3 weeks, but apparently nothing phases them. Fuck you Capcom.

What a sad individual. Imagine, a life dedicated to trying to make a game console look bad because he doesn't like it.

God, that's depressing.

Wow, a random poll of anonymous people reveals some fascinating insights.

I like having downloadable titles, but I wouldn't want to download every game, especially with the big budget titles now taking up full blu-ray discs. It might seem like a more viable option to me when faster transfer speeds are available, but for now I think that it's important that video games continue to be distributed via physical media for some more years.

I think digital distribution will catch on as the main method eventually, it's just that it needs mor...

It's already being slammed too lol (see @Stealth500k).

Whatever, I'm calling it GOTY 2012. Good battle system. I think the soundtrack is gonna rock too.

I hope this gets on track to the point where SE actually goes ahead with the PS3 version. I may have to return to XI to get my fix if things aren't moving by the fall.

I can't say for certain since I haven't played L.A. Noire yet, but based on video I've seen I'd have to agree with you. Not that I think Heavy Rain is the best looking game ever, but compared to LAN it seems to look better overall with the exception of (specifically) facial animation. The faces don't seem to have the level of detail Heavy Rain does though.

Yeah, the whole thing has nothing to do with Starhawk, it's just to make fun of people who play COD.

I feel like this would've been incorporated into the device itself if it could actually work well... I don't know.

It's better that way. Website hits don't care if the person behind them hate the site or not. So when you click on an article with a title that is clearly designed to get angry people clicking the link, you're confirming and reinforcing that belief that inflammatory journalism is the way to go if a website wants to be successful, and helping out the sites that prefer tripe over actual writing. I don't care if the literary equivalent of the Mona Lisa is contained past that t...

The real question is: who cares about your lame musings?

Seriously, if you write a bait article, expect to get treated like a baiter by people who don't appreciate having their time wasted and their intelligence insulted. You're practically begging readers to tell you to go to hell. They're accommodating you.

The latest season of The Office - totally awesome, but kinda lame.

"...although it was kind of hard to defend the negative side."

That's what makes it a bad debate to me. The side against doesn't even seem honestly against youtube (for gaming, he does appear to dislike youtube in general), he's just grasping at straws for points to let the debate go on, like a devil's advocate with a gun to his head. There wasn't a single legit point against it made, and he even references machanima on youtube, as if it pertai...

@taylork37
I guess it's a huge running joke that everyone but you is in on then, because I've been reading that all over the internet for a while now, and have a couple of friends who say the same thing. It's a solid way to play Killzone, and a lot of people who try it don't want to go back to the controller, as they find their accuracy to be improved w/ Move.

How, will they be using Kinects as trays to carry hors d'oeuvres?

Oooh, I didn't know the demo was on the JP store! Thanks for the heads up, gotta create a new JP account and check it out.

It came with, and was used only for Final Fantasy XI. The only other game that let you do anything with it was (I think) Socom 2, players were able to get some extra stage or two.

It's a special case though, it wasn't so much a system addon for developers to use advantageously, it was just to be able to play FFXI on the PS2.
