Should be fun to watch Nintendo go after these people. They are going to make the Geohot situation with Sony feel like child's play.
Says the person with the underaged chick from persona 4 as an avatar.
I liked the cover, but each to their own I guess.
Perfectly said.
Was with you until the: Is this woman a virgin question. I don't think that really matters, because she might just be very conservative or something.
The main point is that while they wanted to make a very creepy scene, they didn't want it to be rape or anything close to it. That's why I think it was great that they caught this before it was taken the wrong way, but I the idea that they caught this because a woman pointed it out is just a bit silly. After all, th...
The first major backlash will be the Ouya deal. I would be incredibly surprised to see them even release a console and if they do I don't see it being anything more than an utter failure. I hope I am wrong and everything turns out great, but I don't see that happening.
I was going to say the same thing, but you pretty much said it perfectly. If the Ouya ever does come out, it will be a huge failure due to rampant piracy.
Why would they ever think it was a good idea to talk about content that they cut out of their game before it is even released? Sometimes it's more important to just shut the hell up, rather than seek pointless praise.
With that said, I am glad that they got rid of a potential scene that could be seen as rape, but it is quite offensive to think that if the team was composed of men mainly this would have been missed. As a man, I can assure you that I know the difference be...
So good to read some intelligent comments from a person that actually knows what is going on. Of course, by pointing out the truth people will just say you are making excuses for Nintendo.
Allowing the publishers to set their own prices is a huge step in the right direction for all of the console makers. This move could mean we finally see Steam like deals come to a console platform. I am very excited to see how the eShop continues to develop.
Yes, please copy Steam instead.
Kind of harsh, but I get what you are saying. My fear is that EA Bioware will decide a pure rpg game is no longer a profitable enough venture and we never get a return or anything close to DA1. DA1 certainly had it's problems, but that game did so much right.
I would love the depth of DA1 combined with some of the gameplay and graphics of DA2. But yeah, I get what you are saying, I just don't think waiting to next-gen will solve the problem, but I am going to agree w...
Great for everyone else, but I had to deal with the annoying disguise system as I beat the game on Normal. I managed to Silent Assassin a lot of the levels, but it was crazy annoying.
While game "journalists" have always loved gaming, they use to make an effort to separate their personal opinion and feelings from how good a game was. It didn't always work but they tried to be objective. Those days are long gone now.
Not surprising really, just look at reviews for games like RE6. You had respected game "journalist" saying the game was terrible and unplayable. You expect that sort of nonsense from regular people that are just upset that there survival horror game is now an action game, but you would expect game "journalist" to judge the game based on it's own merits. Instead, you get childish behavior from paid professionals, crap like this is why I just don't trust game reviews...
Loved this game, really would like to see what they could do with a sequel that has the full backing of Square Enix.
In that case I will at least read it, but your title does give off the vibe I mentioned in my comment.
Update: So the article is focusing on why there are so few lady game creators. That really isn't made clear by the title, but yeah that is a valid point of discussion. I recant my previous comment about this article being pointless.
Yeah I am going to wait too. Looks like they need to fix some stuff with their interface and make it go faster and get a few more premium games out for the console. I never brought a Wii, but I will definitely buy the WiiU. Just not right at this moment.
It's not going to be hard to get a WiiU like it was with the Wii. So I hope people don't go buying this thing for a crazy amount off ebay. Nintendo needs to move this consoles as soon as possible, so they will pump them out quickly. That's one of the benefits of needing software to sell in order for the console to be successful.
You aren't wrong about the Wii, but it looks like Nintendo is really trying to up the stakes with this new console. I don't think we will see a docile Nintendo that just sits back and let there console get hacked without fighting it. Instead we are going to see mandatory console updates online and included with the games. I definitely see Nintendo going after this guy or anyone like him. But only time will tell.
