Bioware's true challenge isn't making a better game than Dark Souls 2 or The Witcher 3, which will almost certainly be amazing game.
Bioware's true challenge is to make DA3 so damn good that it redeems the entire company. They are faced with making the name Bioware mean something again and that is a far greater challenge than making a better game than The Witcher 3 or Dark Souls 2.
EA is almost universally hated amongst gamers. The last few Biowa...
Bottomline is they had better make DA3 one of the most amazing games to ever come out of Bioware or they are pretty much done. DA3 really is all or nothing for them. Personally, I want them to make a great game, so keep saying nothing and work like crazy on making DA3 amazing.
I will deal with it by not buying an always online nextbox. The rest of you can spend your money however you like.
That explains why Crysis 3 was a buggy mess.
I am glad to see Defiance doing so well. The game is really fun and I am sure the buzz will only sale more copies of that game over time. Really, they can only go uphill and I am sure a bunch of people are waiting out server issues.
It's not botched and the game is really fun. It's a MMO so you have to expect this sort of thing early on. It sucks but that is the way it is. At the end of the day, the bugs are only a problem because I truly enjoy playing the game.
With that said, I brought the game on the Second day of release (had to hunt down a copy actually) and I was able to play it plenty. Now I can play as much as I want. The connection issues are annoying, but not Sim City game ruining.
Nothing they showed made the game look harder. The only true death was the one where he tried to parry the giant axe and failed. All the other deaths where clearly intended.
We need to see more gameplay before we can accurate judge the difficulty. The Japanese conference for the game had actual gameplay shown, not a bunch of preplained clips. I need to see some real gameplay before I can gauge the difficulty.
Graphically, the game looks amazing. But I play Da...
Bioshock Infinite isn't perfect or as great as people make it out to be. But it is far from being a horrendous game.
It's really fun and definitely worth buying. There is a ton of content and the gameplay is really solid. This game is all about having fun. I am a solo guy myself, so I am not constantly playing with a group, but it is really easy to find people to co-op with and if you do have a group to play with all the better.
I love the game and I am glad I brought it on 360. Not every game needs to be Bioshock Infinite. This is a game intended for people that just want to sit down ...
Looks better than Far Cry 3 did to me.
Dude there where a ton of articles on N4G alone saying Nintendo was doomed.
That looks awesome. Better than Far Cry 3 actually.
Developing for the ps4/nextbox is going to be really expensive. While developing for the WiiU looks to be cheap and simple in comparison. So I can definitely see major developers using the WiiU as a platform for experimental ideas.
That at least gets more third party games on the WiiU and if something catches fire all the better.
I feel the same way in many regards. That's why I am holding off on the season pass. I give it a bit of a pass because it is a mmo and those always have issues right out of the gate. I honestly think these guys where surprised at how successful the game was.
I had to hunt down a 360 copy of the game and I haven't had to do that in a while for any game. I am sure that 1 month out the game is going to be much improved, but it is a shame that we get to be beta testers wh...
I see so many low scores for Defiance, yet it is pure fun.
No, he is saying that it isn't EA fault at all. The quote means that EA gives developers a bunch of room to go wild and try new things. Because they have a great deal more money and resources they can try new stuff. But that can backfire on them because people became fans of their products because they delivered a certain type of experience.
With the added money and resources the developers now can try more things. Some developers do this to an extreme and some are too af...
Dude he is rich beyond our wildest dreams and he no longer works for EA. He doesn't have to lie about stuff like this at all. You don't believe him because you, like most gamers, probably hate EA and what Bioware became. I get that, but it doesn't make him a liar.
Also, it's no surprise that an Employer monitors there employees.
Couldn't agree more with you. Of course, right now people have their blinders on and don't want to hear anything negative about the game. Fact is that most people played this game on normal, which is a joke. I played it on hard, so I know how generic the combat can get and how the difficulty is based on them throwing hordes of dudes at you as oppose to smart AI.
If you look at what was promised in the E3 2011 trailer and than at the product that we ended up with, yes he did. He delivered on story, but totally under sold on gameplay.
Of course it can, all for the low, low price of $4.99. But this time everyone has to buy it.
