Yeah, I think they should make every mode available for hardcore. There's so much more tactics involved in hardcore matches and it completely changes the pace of the game. I've also found that because of the slower pace, people stay in their original spawn points on one side of the map, which pretty much eliminates the risk of being spawned near enemies because all of your team mates are in the same place.
Ever heard of an opinion? The fact that more people want BF3 shows that DICE aren't prepared to take a risk and make something other than what's already taking up the majority of the gaming market.
That is why the second play-through is so much better, there's something amazing about free running across a city while being chased by cops and while all this is happening there is the most epic soundtrack in the background.
Mirrors edge 2 would sell well if they put the same amount of effort into making it as they are doing now with BF3. Even though Mirror's edge was a great game and very innovative, the reason it didn't sell is because at first glance it didn't look that great, I mean I had the game for 6 months until I finally decided to complete it. I think we all know by now that in this gen all you need to make a game sell is large amount of money to spend on marketing, so that's really all ...

Paintsville, why wouldn't you use a quote from a first party sony studio? it shows that the more developers play around with the PS3, the more they get out of it. Would you rather get the opinion of third party developers who do crappy ports to the PS3?
I kinda agree with you, but even though it's an annoying game i've still put over 2 days into the MP, i'd say that was worth the £40 purchase as I usually don't spend half as much time on other games MP.
I agree that the FPS genre is very over saturated, however that's not the only reason, the game simply doesn't live up to expectations people had. When BF3 launches it will sell a lot because it's going to be a great game, and I'm sure it will receive good review scores which make a huge difference. Even though most people on this website seem to think review don't matter, for most people if a game receives a few 6's and 7's they won't buy it.
It's good to have it as an option but when it effects the game for 2d players it's not really fair. I mean killzone 3 looks great in 3D, but GG put so much time and effort into the 3D aspect which is probably why there was a short campaign and the graphics weren't much improved from KZ2. I really don't see how that is fair considering the majority of people played the game in 2D.
No matter how many people call black ops a fail people are still going to play it. It might be the most annoying game ever made, but there's something about CoD games that makes them incredibly addictive.
Well if it doesn't sell well in the UK at that price then they will lower the price, even if it means they are loosing money, they did that with the PS3 anyway.
£250 for the standard model seems fair to me, for £300 I would expect all the extra features.

Please send me the list of features that DICE have confirmed for BF3, there will be nothing innovative. What I said was absolutely true, all of the features in the BF3 gameplay videos have already been done by CoD and most other military shooters.

I agree with you on the music, drum and bass and rock was much better than this orchestral shite, it really doesn't suit the game.
