Even with all the great review I'm still not sure I should get this game, I suck at puzzles, although I do enjoy a challenge. Then again it's only £32! so confused..
It really depends what game you're playing, I mean some games are built specifically for MP and no one really expects the SP to be that great. Whereas some games are made for the single player experience and the devs just throw in MP to reach a larger audience.
I don't think I have any games that have great SP AND MP, that will change when I have UC3 though.
Muerte, even so, the 360 version still has more detail in some screens (particularly the one I mentioned)
I'm not being a fanboy or anything, I don't even own a 360 but I don't get how people can say they look the same..
They definitely don't look the same, the PS3 shots look like they're lacking in colour. Look at the 5th screenshot and you'll notice a big difference..
I think that's just something they say to help push 3D T.V's lol. Maybe Sony told 'em to say it ;)
Video doesn't work...
never mind it's working now =D
I think they're saving the single player reveal for E3. I don''t think they would have been able to show SP and MP at E3 because of all the new features, I mean they probably have quite strict time limitations at these conferences.
Hopefully they still have special weapons situated around the map like RPG's and grenade launchers.
Preventing spawning temporarily sounds like a good idea, but yeah revealing enemy positions is taking it too far.
"The Airstrip is a two-part map where the location and map layout actually changes in the middle of the match!"
Sounds amazing!
Seriously can't wait for E3. Looking forward to seeing what they've done with the single player.
Public BETA, awesome!!!
Online co op in UC2 was amazing. I probably spent more time on that than I did playing competitive online.
The only thing they need to add to online co op is a story for each level and maybe make each level a bit longer.
Some nice stuff, but it seems a bit overpriced..
And there isn't much to show that there even from a GT clothing range other than a tiny logo at the bottom. Maybe I'll get the T-shirt for £20 though lol.
Infamous had a few graphical problems especially texture popping which is clear when you're traveling at fast speeds ie grinding the rails. I'm still playing through the game and I've found a few glitches but nothing major, things like enemies showing on the radar when they're dead, nothing that would make me have to restart the game, though. As it's an open world game it's quite understandable that bugs will appear every now and then.
I'm not tryi...
"the occasional exclusive"
lol not exactly a valid point when comparing the PS3 to the 360 is it?
People said the same thing last year about Move, but they managed to balance the whole conference out pretty evenly, I'm sure they'll do the same this time round.
I'd like to see what IW and Treyarch could do in 2 or 3 years. Everyone complains about the games being rushed but that's not they're choice, it's Activisions way of making quick money. I don't know any games that come out every year that change much; fifa, madden, AC (although not as bad).
The Fight definitely doesn't deserve to be on that list, it's actually a really fun game once you've upgraded a few of your fighters attributes and skills.
Infamous 2 for me, I would've bought it anyway but now that I know it has an early access code for UC3 beta it's a definite day one buy!
