There's a big Nintendo logo at the start of the video, so that should be your answer on that one!
They named the sensor in the video and it's not accelerometer. It's called magnetometer that uses the earth for positioning...
Bingo! Lol
You wouldn't even be saying this if the game was being delayed on everything because of the Xbox parity clause. It's just being hypocritical agreeing with stuff like this happening.
But where you lack common sense is that imagine what an amazing looking reveal for the game on WiiU could have done for the hype on that system. People on PS4 and XbOne are not buying this game over Drive Club, Forza Horizon 2 or The Crew. You guys have your hope misplaced if you think this!
The sad thing is you don't know how it's going to sell on the other systems though... But that's a discussion that people should revisit after the game is released
It makes it kind of worse then that many people who backed this game did so because they wanted to see it on the WiiU. Gamers just want the truth that's all and the fact that the WiiU version is being delayed means that it was most likely halted all together to finish up the other versions. People are giving this game way to much credit on the other systems, because most PS4 and XbOne gamers won't even be looking for this game when it's released.
It's because the page is the Official Facebook for SMS or Project Cars. Since it has that official title, they must be held to some kind of standard by the developers and owners of SMS.
Sorry that comment wasn't phrased right and was meant to be a general rant towards the SMS responses coming out and people who are defending them.
People have to stop with the sales bit being an excuse! If SMS was worried about the install bases, then they would have went out of their way to make a PS3&360 version.
That's not even a guarantee at this point though, it's not like Project Cars is a household name coming this holiday. It has a lot of similar competition to live up to! People have to understand that you have to throw semantics out the window of saying 1 is a sim and the others are arcade racers. All of the racing games coming out for the rest of this year are high fidelity graphic styles chasing a sense of realism. That's what makes them competitive in the same space. You don...
Seeing as how the WiiU is closer to 7 million than the PS4 Is to 9 million, I like how your math works! And the installation base has nothing to do with what gamers will be buying this holiday and the fact that both the PS4 and XbOne have multiple racing games coming out is going to be a sudden death for this game on those systems.
At this point the damage is done!
All of this time SMS has been touting the WiiU version as not a port and something for WiiU owners to proudly show off the system. This alone was what hyped gamers from the beginning! So don't do the PR spin and act like this game will uniquely use the Gamepad, because it won't. As many others have stated, the WiiU version was probably stopped midstream to focus on the other systems.
They have pretty much given the Watchdogs treatment to this game.
I think they were actually shocked that the poll was so high for the WiiU and they were just going to originally put out some downsized version of the game on the system. This game isn't going to sell a lot on any of the systems, but it could have sold more on the WiiU than the other consoles and they pretty much screwed that up now!
This is what I don't understand, the game has an open water of potential on WiiU and this happens. Damn that's too bad...
We might be a little to hard on Namco-Bandai. I think Slightly Mad Studios made the PS4 and XbOne a bigger priority before Namco came into the picture. This would be a very real reason why we have never seen one screen shot of the WiiU version. It's stuff like that will ruin it for future kickstarter projects.
You have summed it up perfectly! People are very upset because the kickstarter included the WiiU version, so it's frustrating hearing people throw around sales when PS4 and XbOne weren't in the original kickstarter. The game is going up against heavy competition on those systems and the game will probably do poorly on both because of it.
They probably didn't like the fact that their poll showed a higher interest in the game from WiiU owners. Makes no sense for that to be the version that gets delayed...
The 6th gen so far, which is why publishers and developers keep chasing the game ideas from that era. Since the 6th mostly everything has been prettier HD versions of those game play elements from that time.
