I'm actually pretty sure that WiiU sales will pick up dramatically, especially after SmashBros and going into 2015. If Nintendo really does have at least 1 major game release each month next year. Then I'm not worried about 2015, but if they can follow that up in 2016. They need 2 straight banner years of constant quality software releases and I think the WiiU could see a major turn around.

But what I'm saying is, I myself would never pre judge all Sony games, because I haven't played all of them. Not to mention any new IP that may come out between now and the end of the consoles life. Don't get me wrong, I can totally value someone's opinion on this matter if they said hey you know I tried all those franchises and they just didn't appeal to me.

It's just a cop out when people lump all Nintendo games together in one file. Case in point, I bo...

If a person can't afford to be a multi console owner that's one thing. But the sheer crazy talk of when people say that they own both PS4 and XbOne makes no sense whatsoever! Yes they will both have their exclusives down the road that differentiate the systems, but they aren't here now. Also, Nintendo has to be the only console manufacturer where people state, "I can't justify buying a console for only one game. "

So you simply know that there will b...

Reading is fundamental guys! Even in the video it shows that the primary function of this EULA update is to thwart piracy and wrongful use of non official software. Must be a slow week in bad Nintendo news around N4G... "Bayonetta 2 GoTY 2014"

I was thinking the same thing! Unless you plan on playing pirated Nintendo games or being creepy trying to lure young kids out of their homes, I don't understand why this is even an issue. This is the second article on this in 2 days and no one has listed details of the EULA.

For all we know though it could be a hardware security measure. Say your console was stolen and whoever had it could just access all of your games with no problems. If they didn't have to agree to a new EULA, you would probably never know who had the damn thing. This is just an example by the way and I'm not saying for sure that this is the case. It's probably there as a software piracy measure more than anything though.

So they could play pirated games and software, or to not utilize the console for which it was intended.

People obviously don't know what an opinion means on this site I can tell! You can't say that something is your opinion against a products quality, if your statement is easily proven false. I can't say that iPhone are cheap products and believe that's a true statement. Because Apple clearly puts a lot of quality into the build materials and so on. I can state however that the overall experience just wasn't for me and prefer Android phones instead. That doesn't take any...

The problem is that Nintendo doesn't have enough in house teams to bring the older franchises into the now without neglecting something else along the lines. But hopefully with them doing more partnership publishing, we can see more of these franchises in a timely manner! It would be the smartest thing for Nintendo to release new games in these series on the 3DS and then think about a console adaptation. Fire Emblem Awakening has garnered so much praise that we haven't even seen a scr...

I would kill for a modern Blaster Master!

I think that was definitely true for the times since development costs were much cheaper. But now publishers really need to put their games on anything they think they could sell it on.

But this is Bayonetta! Her fighting style even plays on sensual moves! If it was in a Mario game or Zelda even then you could judge and argue it on those merits. How many years were boobs jiggling in DOA fighting games and I don't believe those games were ever docked because of it. It's not that I even care about the Polygon review, it's just that this 2014 and you would almost think that this game is the worst offender of being scantily clad!

Why do people think that the break even point is so high on this game? Infamous SS has sold around 1.5 million units and every ps4 owner considers the game a major success. I guarantee that Bayonetta 2 cost a fraction of Infamous SS to make and why do people feel that it needs to sell just as much to be a successful title for Nintendo.

Because its negative news that's why! Hard to bring down a positive Nintendo article while starring at a glowing review as well. It's nothing new really, all Nintendo articles that have a negative spin get a great deal of traffic on N4G!

You can't predict the budget for a sequel just because of the cost put towards the first game. It doesn't work that way! I bet that this game isn't a big drop in the bucket that people think it is for Nintendo. They are already hinting at a new project possibly in the works with Platinum, so obviously Nintendo is enjoying this partnership they have with the studio.

Simple really, these big publishers know that the current core gaming market cares more about graphics than game play. So that's what they choose to focus 80% of their time and budgets on and they know that you guys will still buy it regardless.

Me too! It's entertaining to see them twist why Nintendo games suck, simply because games on their favorite are just mediocre :)

4257d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

This is the wrong misconception that people have, because there are always lots of games on Nintendo platforms that don't have big budgets, but Nintendo still supports them. What do people consider AAA in this day and age? Most people consider Bayonetta 2 AAA, but what if Nintendo isn't really spending that much to publish this game? Does that make it no longer AAA? I guarantee that Wonderful 101 didn't have a big production value, but the quality is still there in that game rega...

Sometimes I think it would have been better if Factor 5 just stuck with Nintendo hardware. They were once really close to Nintendo and even influential with helping out the GC's hardware specs. It was just sad to see so many talented studios lost last generation
