What you are stating is different from what the developer is saying though. It's understandable if it's a hardware limitation and better for the games visual fidelity and stability if it runs at 1080p and 30fps. But he's stating it as though it is an easy option to have both, but chooses 30fps over 60fps because that is better for an overall genre of games.

Your comment makes absolutely no sense to me. Let's argue how many studios Sony owns to justify the great content you may or may not get in the future. So will you dismiss someone if they state that Microsoft has far deeper pockets than Sony and just buy exclusive titles. Whether you think they are gimmicks or not, the Wii remote will go down in video game history as one of the most game changing moves. Not to mention it's still one of the most accurate ways to play an FPS on a console hands down... I personally don't think that it was a mistake to put a screen on the gamepad, but that they put such a large screen is the problem.
