I find these newer "infected" type zombies much scarier than "classic" zombies because they have a more grounded reason for them existing. It makes it more realistic. I think of mindless, "just came from nowhere" zombies can be frightening, but a zombie who is created because of a strain of virus or even plant is scarier to me because it sounds like something that could happen in real life.
I can see your arguement, except for the can't infect humans part. I don't know that I've ever run into zombie lores where the zombies can't infect humans.
Read the Zombie Survival Guide. It's a good book, and sets "rules" on what qualifies as a "classic" zombie. The book mentions that zombies are slow and stupid, which is cool that it sets those rules, but as nvm1987 points out it's all fake and open to vary.
She "revealed" she worked for Sony? She wasn't hiding it very well with that shirt if the implication was that she was withholding information.
Did you see the article where they said they think it would be fun to do Superman?
That Last of Us is the next Uncharted game. With zombies, lol. Actually I hope it's not Uncharted with zombies. I love Uncharted, but I would like to see Naughty Dog do something new and awesome.
Kaveti has a point. Nobody calls it milking though when it's good, because milking is associated with bad.
Enslaved was kind of disappointing. The story was great, the environment was interesting, but the overall gameplay was a major letdown for me. That mixed with Ninja Theory's tenancy to blame their failures on anyone but themselves has made me lose a lot of respect for that team.
I personally think that the clue in UC3 was just that. A clue. It was them having fun with hinting at their new IP. That's what I think anyway. I doubt this will be in any way related to the Uncharted serious other than possibly throwing in little hints like the one they did in UC3 or something.
Did you play Oblivion? That's what you can expect. Otherwise I would still check it out. I'm not a huge RPG fan, but I liked Oblivion and so far I'm loving this game. I would say it's similar to Fallout 3, but the "world" is much more interesting in this game and I feel like the combat and leveling is more interesting.
I didn't like Fallout 3 either, never played Knights. Rent it at least, or torrent the PC version to give it a try and buy i...
I'm a PS3 fanboy, but I wasn't impressed with Heavy Rain. I wasn't a bad game, but it wasn't incredible. I would say the Uncharted series blows them out of the water in graphics and story telling.
Heavy Rain should have been more technically impressive considering it was mostly QTE. The animations were to unrealistic, the voice acting wasn't that great, and the story was kind of meh.

Great game.
How much did you spend to be able to play with those setting? Because whatever amount, it's more than I'm willing to pay. I have a fairly decent gaming PC I built 3 years ago, and it cost me $1500 to build and it's only decent because I haven't kept it upgraded.
I always use quick match on my PS3 and never have lag issues. I don't know how quick match works, but you would think the developers would have it choose a server based on connection automatically. It's nice having the server browser, but it shouldn't be a requirement to use it in order to get a good server.
It's pretty clear what's happened here. Ubisoft has always planned the AC franchise to be a trilogy. They made the first one, then the second was also a hit. They decided they weren't ready to finish the series off, so we've gotten the ACII extensions.
They need to give up the idea of this being a trilogy. I think the game has tons of potential in other time periods. It's pretty obvious the last game will be Desmond in the present, which I'm all f...
Same time doesn't work well anyway. Gameplay suffers.
I really don't get why 7 is a bad score. The way people see scores these days is ridiculous. If a game isn't at least a 9, it's garbage.
I would rather not have an engine, than to be known for having a shitty one.
I look at Rage and then realize that I can't take what this guy says as word from an expert because he has clearly lost touch.
I think a massive part of "buggyiness" comes from the types of games. Uncharted 3 is a masterpiece, but it is fairly linear and scripted out. It's an amazing game, but as a developer you can test the shit out of it because it's pretty straight forward.
Skryim on the other hand is massive and open. The chances of bugs not being caught are WAY higher because there is really only so much you can test. They just have do the best they can and address issues...
