It almost sounds like facial expressions will be used as a mechanic in the game? Like, the other character will nod to you to indicate a good time to run for the next cover? I can see now why they had that little part in the trailer where she nods to him when he pulls the gun out. Should be interesting for sure.

The hate from RE5 is that ironically many gamers want the nostalgic feeling of what they've liked before. I've really noticed in the last few years that most people who complain about a game are often going on about how things USED to be one way or the other.

You know, not everyone wants the same thing for 15 years. I don't mind that they've changed things up, and new characters are not a problem. Did you throw a fit when RE2 didn't have Chris or Jill? Leon and Claire were new to that game.

I kind of felt the same way. I had a 1000, and then later got a 3000 and it felt too light to me. The UMD tray felt cheaper as well. Oh well, they're like $100 now though.
I don't buy Apple products. New Android phones do come out, but Android is not a model. If I buy a Droid Razr and a Samsung phone comes out the next month that is better, not the same situation. Same with TV's. If Microsoft came out with a handheld in May that was better than the PS Vita I wouldn't care. However, if another Vita comes out within a year or two of the original I would be annoyed.
It had better be several years before they revise the Vita. I will not be pleased if I buy one and they have a newer/slim one in a year.

One thing I'll say for sure about Enslaved was that the story was interesting, and the relationship between the characters was well done. I think Ninja Theory is good at creating pretty environments and compelling characters. I just wish they would pick up the slack with gameplay.
