Can someone please explain to me the love behind Pokemon outside of kids under 12? How is this something that adults play??
Because it's one of the few things 360 owners can hold over PS3 owners heads as a reason for XBL being better, so PSN users assume it must be super duper awesome with all of the bragging that used to occur.
They're also missing the kombo moves. Those are moves as well. These are just the special moves.
I wish I could say the same. I got a slim after my fat died of the YLOD. I'll admit though that in the 2 years I had my fat I played PS2 discs maybe 2 or 3 times so I wasn't all that concerned about losing BC.
Did anyone recently get hit with this for MK? I was playing online for a few weeks with my Gamefly rental, and then all of a sudden a few nights ago I get this prompt saying I need to buy online pass. Did they add this after the fact?
Last time I checked most of the brick an mortar stores were renting games at around $8 for 5 days. Not sure if that's gone up since though because I've been using Gamefly for a few years now.
$2 a night is only awesome if you can fly through a game in a couple of days. For me, someone who has a full time job and a family I might only use this to try a game out for a night before buying it. Otherwise Gamefly is way better for me because if it takes me a month to beat the game it's not a big deal.

Actually Microsoft has said it doesn't want games over 2 or 3 discs because it starts to get too expensive. So your argument fails. They don't have an unlimited number of disks that they can use, so if a game would have normally taken more than 3 disks it has to be cut down for the 360.
I think he meant playing a grown up Zelda game. As in a Zelda game made for grown ups.

Let's look at the alternative. Sony offers the lesser popular games instead of the high quality ones. We would be hearing stuff like "Aw, Sony sucks. Calling all cars? There was a reason I didn't buy that game."

As much as I want to agree with you, Nintendo does have a strong hold on the handheld market. It'll be tough for the Vita to knock the 3DS out of that title.
I do agree though that it's very important for the Vita to have a strong title lineup. One of my biggest complaints with the PSP is the lack of games that interest me.
