I don't think it broke the 1 million mark and if it did it couldn't have been by much.
the 360 fanbase wouldn't really support a game like this. They love to talk but talk is cheap. There's really no excuse why a game like this with the install base the 360 has shouldn't have done way better.
Had Mass Effect been on the PS3 it would have sold much better had the PS3 had the same install base. Don't worry, you'll see what I mean when ME comes to the PS3 later on.
