For less than $10 this game is a no brainer. It looks like fun and costs virtually nothing.
Yeah you're right, ME.com is the best thing ever. They're hardly ever wrong and they just know what they like and what they don't like.
They've got to be the most reliable source for current gen gaming nowadays.
They all suck. ALL OF THEM: gamespot, gamestrailers, EGM, IGN, 1UP etc etc. Their editorials (blogs and reviews) are worthless taboliod crap and they're fine with this.
This is the new normal for them and their industry and it's disgustingly gross. It's grat to read an article like this cause you feel great that you're not the only one that feels that way.
Hey with those scores we could see LO push 360 sales the way Ace Combat did in Japan. This maybe the one game MS has been looking for to try and at least crack into Japanese gamers to some kinda significant degree.
I'm interested in how well it'll be recieved and if it'll move more consoles than ACt6 did ... more than any game realeased in Japan so far.
I wasn't personally impressed with LO myself though. It seems it the same gameplay taken from great JRPG games...
This game is fantastic on for a handheld game with a slight camera issue (no 360 degrees)
The gaming media have just become willing lackies to PR groups selling themselves like cheap whores. It's disgusting the level they've stooped to nowadays.
I honestly believe anyone looking to editorial reivews for proper info is a damned sheep of a fool.
Oh you're just aiming to become in the elite "1 bubble man" group aren't ya.
ROTFL!!! Cause you know it's true >_< lol
You only download what you feel you want. So if all you want is an apartment then that's what you download. If you just want the social lounge or games room AND your apartment then that's what you download.
If you ony want your trophy then that's what you DL. So no, it won't take up tonnes of gigs even if you wanted every single thing it'll still be a fair use of your gigs considering what your getting.
Anyone who compares HOME to Secondlife either doesn't know what Secondlife is or is clueless about HOME. It's almost like saying N4G forums is like secondlife - stupid uh?
Secondlife is a life sim GAME. HOME is community forum that is a feature the Playstation network offers. It is not a game. You can play a variety of games in it but it is not a game.
HOME is like Yahoo forums, music & games; myspace; facebook; gaming discussion forum (like gamespot, gamestrailers, 1UP IGN etc) with INFINITLY more stuff than all these things listed above offer, all rolled into one AND all in 3D.
That should help you get an idea of what HOME is. HOME will essentially be anything it's community wants it to be and could evolve to so many different areas.
You could probably even have your own broadcasting radio or podcast sh...
I'm sorry but if I have to look "deep down" for anything, chances are I really didn't give a 'uck in the first place.
What a lame way to try and get someone, anyone convinced that they "really deep down" want a wii for Christmas. Wow, do you really need silly articles like this to encourage gamers? The wii's sell hot as it is.
and both the ISA and Helgan squads.
or something like that. I think they're lookin at Killzone to be the last big one for their fiscal year which ends in March 30.
but 5 million in a day is not possible in the industry today. However, I'm interested to see if it'll surpasss 100million in revenue on it's first day.
Now if you're saying in a week.. well uhmmm.
Anyways, we all know the anti viral marketing campaign from MS will go frikgen insane into some crazy emergence overload!!!!! You'll see a tonne of gaming sites like gamespot, 1UP, gamestrailers, EGM, IGN etc handing out 7.5s and 8s even before they get their review cop...
Killzone 1 still out sold every single xbox exclusive (side from halo1&2) and if a game that was considered by the xbox fanbase as "teh worst FPS EVA!!!" outsold all exclusive titles on the xbox except for halo1&2, then wow, I can't imagine the asswhooping Killzone II is going to lay down.
....
Might as well start handing out 20/10s, hell, lets go with 100/10 and let's get thing rolling.
The state of editorial reviews is pathetic this gen. PR groups run the gaming media now, it's all just gone down the crapper and editorial reviews now have no meaningful value to the greater gaming community anymore. Sad really.
The first one was done on the PC and then ported to the PS2 which was a great port. The second one was done on the PC & xbox and was considered by many as a wash of the 1st one.
It's already been anounced and promoted by a lot of retail outlets as coming for the PC, PS3 & 360. No need to keep crying about it.
There were more PS2s than xboxes and it was the same it is now. The reason isn't the number of people but the type of people live seems to attract.
Yes you get gmaers saying the N word or being sexist but usually that person is even out numbered and often told to shut it or move on.
This one here is a huge problem with live and anyone who's used both live and PSN will tell you clearly they're are two very different communities.
I love the HL series as it is my all time favourite FPS but there's no way I'll pay top $$ for a crappy port product. I'm not going to be anyone's fool. I'll get it used at some point in time and make sure neither EA nor Valve gets a penny from me.
Oh, and gamespot is the ultimate suck!
